My system works great! For a 50 shot I get a lot more at the wheels, especially torque. I have gone through about 10 full bottles, system has worked flawlessly. On Sunday I got down below 3 pounds in a 10 pound bottle and it was still hitting hard.
I know Dr. Roof has made this great race series possible and I thank him for it, but I know he would be the first to tell you that the "Cudaman" was instrumental in the great time we all had this past weekend. He took time from his company to arrange the hotels, info, and track time and...
Running a 50 shot, we get a little more than 50 hp out of it as it cools the supercharger and lets it do its job. It was a great ride, pressed into the seat until I lifted at the traps.
Tom, thanks for the response. I remember that car it was sapphire blue with silver stripes also. I guess JDAWG blew the creampuff record out of the water. Ok, so my new goal for this year will be to go better than 10.10. I may need a smaller pulley!!!
Went 10.54 @ 132 mph yesterday, then backed it up with a 10.60 and then a 10.58. I was in the 10s eight times yesterday ranging from 10.54 to 10.81 on drag radials with a best 60 ft of 1.54 and a best 1/8 mile of 6.82 @ 106.79. Thank you Larry Macedo, I told him I wanted a solid 10.50 car and...
Anybody that was there and saw Chad's car go down the track can attest that it was no "Sunday Drive." Chad put it to the wood and set a world record, very few people could stay on the throttle with that violent eruption of power. Way to go Chad!! :2tu:
Yesterday was a great time, it is a shame to see it overshadowed by this bickering and personal attacks. The series has never followed NHRA or IHRA rules, if we did most of the the really fast cars could not run. We do private rentals of the tracks so that the simple rules David boggs has laid...
I have had the Roe Fan switch on for more than 2 years, no dead battery in that time and I live in Florida. It is a nice piece, it looks like a factory item. I also have the Roe cooling duct on my street Viper, I think it works great, as soon as you get rolling it dramatically drops the temp.
Chad and Jason, way to go. Too bad you didn't do this a month ago then we would have seen all the ulimited boyz pouring money into their cars to try and compete. Congradulations.
I have one that comes on when the coolant temp goes above 208 F, it will come on after I stop the car, but only for a few minutes and only if it is really hot outside.
Macedo keyed my crank during installation, I think he does every FI car that way. No problems to date, going on 2 years with the supercharger and 9000 miles, and a lot lot of drag strip passes.
Cudaman Backs it up, 9\'s again.
Cudaman forged out into the Florida heat today, in the 80s and humid he knocked out another 9 second pass in his well built Macedo car. 9.92 at approx. 140 mph. I think the Super Street Class is all rapped for Bradenton. Way to go Ward.
If the scrambler function works that would be nice. I have the Valentine I and the latest Bel 945. The Bel seems to pick up more signals, but you can't beat those directional arrows on the V1. The other day pulling ont the Freeway I knew there was a cop on the other side of the on-ramp...
Re: FACTORY REP FROM DODGE SAYS ALL VIPERS RUN HOT! HE SAYS 260 DEGREES IS
Have you tried a cooler thermostat, say 160 or 180. I run one and my car stays very cool even with the supercharger. Also, I have a roe fan switch which throws the fans on a 207 and will turn on when you park the car...
Tony, awesome time. What kind of drag radials were they? And what size? Also any details on the vehicle would be great for those of us that are drooling!
Nope, stock cast pistons. No internal mods. The small shot of nitrous helps keep things cool and lets the supercharger really do its thing. Plus it is a blast to drive all the torque comes in before 4300 rpm, there is no waiting when you put it to the wood.
