My Bowling Green V-10 Nats. Experience

Brian, It was great meeting you and your wife. Great suggestion on the dinner Friday night. We have a lot in common, we are both running 5lb Roe super chargers on cream puff motors and we both have Harley pick-up trucks. How did your car like the Macedo cards? I have gone 10.8 at over 128...

Fast dually trucks running at the V-10 Nationals - Tow Truck Challange

Re: Are there any fast dually trucks running at the V-10 Nationals Hey Cudaman, Maybe you should drop a 5.4 liter supercharged gasoline engine in that rig if you want to go fast, of course you might not be able to pull the 24,000 lbs that we pulled to Texas and back with the new engine.

    Vette Viper Shootout THIS SUNDAY................................

Mike, I have had better days, I was trying out the new slick and skinny set-up, hoping for a solid mid 10 second pass, left the line pretty hard, but the car kept trying to go into the wall, especially after each shift. I lifted off in third gear and rolled through the traps with an 11.2 at...

    Hard to say goodbye

When are you gonna tell the guy from St. Louis that he ain't getting the car, and are you gonna keep the down payment, we could have a great party at the V-10 nationals with that, or pay for the next six races in full. Good one roof, you sucked a lot of us in with that one. You should have to...

FLA Vipers headed to V10 Nationals, Pit Stop

Chad, All of the trailers can only hold one Viper, and I think they are all full. We may be able to track down another tailer, not sure though. I think one or two guys may drive their Vipers. The advantages of going with the posse are; we are just a whole bunch of fun, most of us are armed...

    RollBar

V10MOJO, Make sure which ever bar you go with that it does not interfere with the emergency releases on the doors. I have seen a lot of bars that block these, and if you ever need to use it, I am sure you won't, you may not have battery power and may not be able to exit the car. Food for thought.

    Mr. Clean AutoDry Car Wash?

I have used it on all my cars including the Viper, I have had good results. I use a little of the soap in a bucket with a sponge. I rinse the car with the regular water (high power spray,) soap it, and then use the sponge with soap from the bucket, then I rinse it with the regular (high power...

Vette, Viper and F-Body Shootout in Fl April 4th

If my clutch foot heals I'll be there. It is a good event, it is a little costly, but it is great to run down those Corvettes, you just have to watch out for some of those nitrous F-bodys.

    Anyone using water wetter?

I live in Florida. I run it in most my cars, 5-10 f degree drop. Not sure how it would do in freezing temps, but in the winter here it will get into the 30s -40s at night, never have seen a problem.

Macedo Motorsports cars attending the V-10 Nationals

I'll be there David, fractured the clutch foot this weekend, so I may have to have Macedo install paddles on the wheel or put an automatic in it before the trip, regardless of the peg-leg, I'll be there.

    Cream Puff shift points?

I have drag raced my creampuff a lot, before and after the supercharger I have always found faster times by shifting right at 6000 rpm on the factory tach. A lot of people have told me that I should shift at 5500 rpm, but whenever I shift at less than 6000 rpm I lose time and trap speed. I...
