    VOI PHOTOS

172 mph, dang thats strong. The TA stayed so flat through the esses. It handeled curbing very solidly. I have to get more track time and learn how to best use the 3:55 gear...

Convince Me to Get Viper Over R8, Gallardo, 12C

Go with the Viper, as Bruce said, once you spend the time learning where the edge of the envelope is, then you will be tuff to beat at any track day. Plus you can beat on the car all weekend and still drive home, no $10k brake jobs to be done. Also, I always get a thumbs up at the gas pumps...

    VOI PHOTOS

170 Mph on the back stretch, dang thats fast. Do you have any mods done to your ACR? My stock TA was maxed at about 160 mph in 5th gear on the back stretch. Only downside to that taller gear is I have to take it to 5th on the straights.

VOI 13 COTA - Track plans

GTSR91, I parked next to you one night, and I gotta say that yellow is even more impressive in person than in the photos what a color. Our new editor of the magazine is also a professional photographer, man he took some amazing pics, I am sure some will make their way to the site in the next...

    New owner in Monaco

Welcome to the Viper Nation Corrado. The guys in Germany and Switzerland are pretty active, maybe you can coordinate to meet up with them for one of their events. We just saw a lot of them at VOI.13 in San Antonio Texas. I will ask Fredi to reach out to you. I have been to Monaco several...

    VOI PHOTOS

What a great week of friends and fast cars, one lane dirt roads and 100+ mph toll roads. It is crazy when the Viper owner you least expect to be a mad man behind the wheel blows by you at 150 mph. COTA is simply the best track I have ever been on and having it dedicated just for Viper owners...

VOI 13 COTA - Track plans

It wouldn't be a VOI without a little rain, but I think the event was a huge success, great people and a great time. Friday at COTA was FANTASTIC, we had the track to ourselves, by the end of the day everyone had run so many laps there were only 2 cars on the track. I think in all, I must have...

    Another Viper fatality

I live in the area, and we have been getting some serious rain lately, 1 inch in less than 30 mins the other day, very tragic accident. speed may not have been a factor, on Sunday there were seven of us coming back from Harry's funeral service on I4 and we were down to 45 mph and all hydro...

Holy crap...Dodge just announced great incentives to spur sales

I think everyone can agree, the Viper program going forward is a good thing for the Viper Nation. It is rare you see a company step up and take care of their buyers, as they are doing for previous Gen V buyers. I certainly appreciate not being forgotten, something had to change and Dodge is...

VOI 13 COTA - Track plans

Well said Paul. I don't know any hard core track people, that won't jump at the opportunity to run COTA on the VOI day, learn the track, then come out the next day and go to "Warp" speed I believe you said. This is a great opportunity.

Is there a sticky for Viper shoppers?

Gen IIs always a great choice. 1996 - 1999, they had forged pistons and what was called a 708 cam. 2000 - 2002 they came with cast pistons and a different grind camshaft. 2001 and 2002 had the first ABS brakes, big difference on a road course. Loads of posts on which years and which engine...

VOI 13 COTA - Track plans

I've been to five VOIs, and in those we have never been on a track like COTA. VOI's give everyone a chance to experience their cars on a rrace track with instruction, no matter their experience level. This VOI does that, as well as letting those that want more time on this amazing track, an...

    What's my VIPER WORTH

Zoom Zoom, you might be better off to put the factory stuff back on and sell the upgrades separately. With only 4600 miles and Yellow I would think you could get somewhere between $45-$48k for her as a low mileage stock car.

    Homecoming Tragedy

This has gone way off topic, again pot stirring. My question, post #2, Is If the Viper Café was built and funded by the VCA (even If It was Maurice spearheading it and who was in the VCA at the time,) then why is another club listed there? Did the VOA sponsor money at the time o f...
