    Florida people.

I bought my 2001 GTS from them in May of 2002. It had 600 miles on it, they got it from a dealer that the owner had taken it as a personal car. I did the deal over the phone, sent a deposit. I told them that if the car was not what I saw in the pictures I would back out of the deal. They had...

anyone with experience using the kwiklift with a Viper?

I park my Viper on one every day. It is great and does not take up too much room. Powder coating and all the accessories I think I was in around $1300.00 delivered to a local warehouse. I bought two of the jack braces that go across the ramps, the only problem is it is hard to find jacking...

    New Addition To Our Team!

Nice pick, I am sure the local Dodge dealership is thrilled with you. Wasn't he their only Viper Tech? Maybe we could do warranty work at your shop now since you are both certified Viper techs??? Congratulations and about time, now you'll need another 7000 sq feet of space.

    New air box

Matt, You did not miss much, they didn't prep the track until someone had an accident. They then spent 1+ hours laying down the VHT they should have put down at around 3 pm. Then beyond my comprehension, they blocked off the center access and had everyone drive thru the water box, so all the...

    New air box

I drove my supercharged Viper quite a bit yesterday with the new box, went to test and tune but an ignition problem had me breaking up a little bit, did not solve it before the end of the night. On the ride home (2 hours) car felt stronger in all gears. One interesting benefit, before the new...

Anyone have a line on a Viper trailer?

We have a Featherlite 17.5 ft open trailer. All aluminum double axles, four electric brakes, Fenders remove for opening doors on Viper, price is just below $5000.00. Light weight makes it possible to pull with most SUVs and mid size trucks. Super nice, same trailer they give to the Nascar...

    New air box

My car is spending the weekend at the Macedo Spa and Resort for Vipers. Stopped by Saturday to check out the new brakes and other goodies. I got to see the new air box Macedo is selling. It looks great, especially for Roe supercharged cars, the tubes have no stress on them and the box should...

    TFAST4U - 10.88 @ 132.8 On Kumho's

Re: TFAST4U - 10.88 @ 132.8 On Kumho\'s Yeah, but can you run 10s' with one eye closed??? Awesome job!! I think you would definitely be 10.5 maybe 10.4s with MTs and skinnes, especially with your driving curve. Hey if you lose another 50 lbs on your diet, that will be another tenth maybe...

    Drag racing/tips and techniques

Andrew, I have 2001 GTS, thus my motor is a "creampuff" like yours with the cast pistons. Before the supercharger I found my best times by shifting at 6000 rpm on the factory tach. Some people will tell you 5200-5400 rpm, which I think works well for the 1999 and older forged piston motors...

Anyone want to rent Orlando Speedworld?

Jason, I live in Longwood. I go to Orlando Speedworld often, and I knew last night that all the ricers would be out trying to knock off a couple of low 17s. I have rented the track before and I know the owner of the track. I am always keen on doing a rental. Weekdays are usually easier...

Any Experiences With Roe Racing Front Bumper Fascia Cooling Duct?

My was installed last January, it does not do much at low speeds, but on the highway I run right at 180 F. I have the 180 thermostat. On Road Atlanta two weeks ago I made 5 plus laps and the car never went above 195 F, I was peddle to the floor in every gear, 4500 rpm in 4th on the back...

Some Results from the Central Florida VCA Drag Race Day

1BADSNK, I basically have the same set-up as yours. My car was a bit off on Saturday as well. I generally run up to 128 mph for my trap speed, Saturday my best was 125 mph at 11.32. I was trying a lot of different cards with Sean Roe, so it was a bit of a test day. I might have done better...

    Boost Gauge

I have an autometer which matches the factory white on the gauges. The bezel had to be painted black as it comes silver. Macedo placed it on the steering column, it looks stock, however I don't look at it much when my spine is being straightened by the boost.

Back from my 1st Drag Strip Outing in my '02 GTS

Re: Back from my 1st Drag Strip Outing in my \'02 GTS Good times for your first trip out. Watch that wheel hop, it can break a lot of things on and independent rear. I usually run my Michelins at 20 psi and ride the clutch out for a smooth launch. It may make the clutch smell a bit but they...
