    1993 Gen 1 good news.

Yeah, prices have been creeping up in the last 12-18 months. As for the Hagerty values, take a good look at their descriptions for excellent and good. From what you've briefly described I think Hagerty would rate your Viper as Good or Good plus. As for pricing, I'd say $35k, after you get the...

    GTS vs ACR

Great video, very descriptive. As he pointed out earlier ACR's (to mid 2000) had Koni's then the switch to the Dynamatics. the Koni's are better!!

1994 Viper Serpent won’t pass Colorado emissions

KBS, TNT was owned by Roy something? He had worked for Hennessey (Venom) then went on to form his own shop. You didn't say why it didn't pass and there are a number of reasons it would fail. I'd reach out to Dan Cragin at SPT (Specialty Performance Team) in the LA area. Dan's been involved...

    GTS vs ACR

Why U try, the entire drive-line (motor to rear end) is the same, only difference is the Smooth tubes.

    GTS vs ACR

Steve has a good list, only other item unique to a G2 ACR is an Oil filter Adapter that works when you run the A/C. Figure a 20%, or more price premium between a same year, same color. same mileage ACR and GTS. The smooth tubes give 10hp at the flywheel and you'd never feel that. The ACR's...

I need to replace my gen 3 engine

Ciro, when you mention comp coupe motor, is the one from Dan Cragin the one? Dan is a great guy and a straight shooter. He has a ton of customers across the USA and we are lucky he's here to service us in California. That's a great price for that motor, and the comp coupe comes with a better...

Affordable gen 3 wheel options for track day

You don't need spacers on the OZ rims, they all have the same offset for 2003-2010 vipers. If you're considering a wing then you need to get a front splitter too for aero balance. APR are the most popular Viper aftermarket set ups. You might want to ask JonB at PartsRack if he has a good...

    Question, tires for 94

Hey Mopar, you can use your same logic to tell people not to wear seatbelts too. "Just be cautious and pay attention."
  16. redtanrt10

    Question, tires for 94

#1 reason Vipers get wrecked or totaled, driving wild or above their ability. #2 reason, old tires Your tires are as hard as a rock and have no traction left. If you can't afford new tires then only drive real slow till you can save up for good tires. And when someone says "hey hammer it"...

    Hardtop Identification - Please Help

JK, glad you got it on!! Make sure those windshield area levers are closed correctly. also, I notice from time to time I get slight scratching on the rear edge. I lay down foam tape across the sport cap just to prevent minor scratching.

    Hardtop Identification - Please Help

    JK, I just found a picture of an OEM G2 hardtop. Your's must be a G1 since the G2's attach in the rear via the sport pad (just like your soft top). Take a look;

New Viper owner -1993 with 17,000 miles

Vrinner, Congrats!! My answers to your questions are below in italics; The car has gold wheels and trim which I believe was done by the first owner. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have the wheels and trim refinished back to stock. You might want to find a different set of Viper wheels. The...

    Hardtop Identification - Please Help

There are 2 factory hardtops. One for G1's, '92-'96 and the G2 version '97-'02. The G2's have a mesh pocket on the headliner. If you have that mesh pocket then its not going to ever fit. If you have the G1, take the sport pad off (like said above). Lay the top in place with the rear bolts...

New 1997 GTS B/W Viper Owner

Federico, I'm not familiar with European battery availability but I've attached a picture and some specs. The battery you want is a "side post" (NOT Top Post) so it can fit in that area. I don't think anyone here modifies the tray, many US suppliers have batteries for Vipers. Hope this helps...
