what's causing this exhaust smoke?
When i had my viper dyno'd recently, i noticed smoke out the tail under high rev decels: my tuner says it's crankcase oil thru the pcv valve & that i should cap it off..... What do you guys think? :dunno:- moparracing

well, i finally got my full 3" exhaust right, good low rumble & nominal cabin drone: YouTube - '97 GTS full 3 inch exhaust.MOV i used belanger headers, no cats, 4 magnaflows in the sills & 2 more magnaflows where the rear muffler use to be with an "H" pipe... in the sills are...- moparracing

Ready to buy!!!

2001 GTS No Start
did you have your battery load tested @ an auto parts store? a dead cell won't allow a "jump".....- moparracing

4.10 gears? That must be a huge change from stock........ My setup is belanger headers, no cats/resonators in the sills & the stock muffler outback.... this gives me very little drone, but want 3" all the way out - not just out to the stock muffler like i do now. I've tried the randomtech...- moparracing

The scrapping Viper

Gen II Exhaust With & Without Cats
in wa state, they only check for codes - so passing without cats isn't an issue. All you need are a couple of cheap anti-foulers to fool the back o2 sensors. I run w/o cats & magnaflow muffler/resonators in the sills for heat reduction (alot of it). I tried running a randomtech catback, but...- moparracing
