    Totally right. When the Porsche got space because the Viper was held up by traffic, the Viper caught up right away. The only reason the Porsche stayed in front so long was blocking....legal yes (I didn't see any compound moves) but exemplary, no.

    Scott, sorry to hear about the bang. As the wrecker of no fewer than 4 transmissions in the past two years, its been my experience that 3rd and 5th are the gears that seem to be weakest (5th even moreso than 3rd). The Tremecs are decent but depending on power application they may ned a cooler...

    Having charging issues...

    If it does turn out to be a bad battery; get a Battery Tender instead of the trickle charger. TC's send juice to the battery continuously - not ideal for the battery's life and functionality. Tenders (its a brand name) send juice to the battery only when it needs it....in order to stay fully...

    Arrow for $1,500.....absolutely. FWIW, I had a crank machined from a billet....perhaps THE most expensive way to produce a crank......and it was $6,500 (had no choice, it was a GTS-R small-main-journal crank that broke) As you know by now, that dealership is a stealership.

    I'd vote for the higher miles with the options you want.....assuming you would do the exhaust and wheel upgrades. I too am not a fan of the gold wheels.....and what's 10K miles if you're gonna drive it? You'l get to 35,000 soon enough with either one!

    Making your paint look like glass !

    If you strip the wax and then use polish,but don't wax after the polish, doesn't the paint oxidize more rapidly? Not challenging your suggestion (heck Im gonna try it) just trying to understand the tradeoffs if any.

    Then check the IAC.....its not the PCM. The stockers are pretty solid.

    Windshield drop?

    They are effective in removing glare, but come at the expense of visibility. On the track the latter isn't a problem, I wouldn't do it for the street - definitely cuts down your visibility....not to a dangerous point, but takes some of the enjoyment out of looking around and enjoying the view...

    Lighter not working, where is the fuse at ? ---

    If the fuse is good, try and clean up the post at the bottom of the receptacle.....it can get corroded over time and a little emory-cloth will shine it up so connection is made.
