    Color combo attached to VIN????

    Just want to make sure before i go through with everything that my car is everything it is suppose to be. Anywhere I can check the VIN to make sure the color is correct? It is a 98 silver with blue stripes. Just want to make sure the stripes are original. Jeff

    I'm looking to purchase my first viper. I have some understanding about the car. I am looking for a clean GTS with stripes and less than 20k on the clock. I have been checking ebay, autotrader, craigslist, viperalley, viperforums, and here. Any other suggestions on where to look? Jeff

    I have done some researching. Should I be afraid to buy a 96 instead of a 97. I'm just nervous about porous blocks and such. I found a good deal on one. Jeff

    I also found a low mileage 97 blue gts for a good price which is tempting. I can't remember the differences between the 97 and 99 though.

    I tried researching it, but couldnt find links that work. I found a 1999 light silver with dark grey stripes. does anyone have info that would help me? I'm looking at buying my first GTS. Jeff
