Perhaps a few more questions from the pictures of this car some of the more knowledable viper nuts can help me with.
This obviously is the wrong air bag. So it has been replaced. So for this, where do I look for crumple zones on vipers?
Is this a K&N intake setup? Also, I notice an A/N...
I'll keep that in mind.... Little stuff like that doesnt bother me. I'm a hot rodder. So the more minor flaws I can point out, the cheaper I can maybe get this.
As far as the wheels. They will stay on for a while. I dont think they are ugly, just not exactly what I want. I really want...
I live in houston and travel to waco/dallas area usually every other weekend.
Yeah if I have the car I'll have to keep that in mind. I'm trying to get my turbo 92 mustang notch going(in waco) so we will see.
Might sell that car to put towards a TT kit for the viper. Just have to decide if...
Yeah I showed a picture of it to her this mourning. She wants to come with me now to get it. She said, "screw the ring". Couldn't ask for a better girl.
Still going to get her a ring soon anyway. Just was waiting for the right moment to purpose.
I have an appointment with the dealership Saturday mourning. If the car checks out, I'm picking up the Viper and driving it back home.
It's driving me crazy waiting. Funny part is if I drive it home Saturday, I better take the g/f out for engagement ring shopping that afternoon or I will...
96-99 forged motor cars. I'll even consider 97-99 RT/10's if the price is right. Have my heart set on a gts though.
I'm trying to get out of stangs. They can be made fast, but every joe blow has one. I want something that "pops" when I drive.
I'm not looking for a "flawless" car. I want something I can drive it like I stole it. If the engine blows oh well, I didn't pay the premium on a "low mileage" car. High miles I mean 50k or so. 100k is even pushing it for me unless its a steal.
I'll still be "picky", but I have no reason to...
Me credit union approved me for up to 50k on a 97 Viper GTS for up to 8 years with a 6.75% interest rate.
Although there is no chance ill do an 8 year loan, lol.
I'm in the same market. I know it's going to be modded so why pay the higher price? I have my eyes on a high mileage viper also.. Going to go look at it this saturday.
Well I sold one my stangs, and paid off my stupid super charger payment I got while I was in college 1.5 years ago. I'm just itching to get a viper. Trying to hold out until winter to get the press price and to save up for a real nice down payment.
Nitro Dave's Nitrous Outlet has designs for a dedicated fuel system for a viper. They don't stock them on the shelves but I do beleive Dave still has the designs(Used to work there over a year go). Beleive he has done a few vipers that were squeezing up to 250-300rwhp.
The FJO...
I joined the forum in the quest of knowledge for buying a Viper by the end of the year. I have been a die hard mustang enthusiast(currently 3 fox bodies) and now deciding to "upgrade" my garage.
Looking forward to joining the viper community.
