How many Shadow Blue Pearl 2013 SRTs are there?

SBP is an extra $1,000. I really like it, although nothing beats Venom Black. I didn't think SBP was even available on the SRT but upon carefully reading driveSRT.com the only GTS-exclusive colors for 2013 were Stryker Red and GTS Blue. Since it looks like SBP is gone already, I sure wish I...

And if it isn't, I'll find all the VIN plates and rewrite them with a laundry pen. Those don't wash off.

How many Shadow Blue Pearl 2013 SRTs are there?

Ah, but yours is a GTS. They meant the only SRT economy model made in SBP. Very interesting that they made you call it black, so if you ever get stopped when the police were looking for a black or blue sports car, you can claim in court that it was really the other color.

How many Shadow Blue Pearl 2013 SRTs are there?

A dealer in the Charlotte area has a Shadow Blue Pearl SRT with Billet Silver stripes. Their Autotrader ad claims it's the only SBP SRT in the country. I'm sure there were very few, but is it really the only one? And what's the official word on whether SBP made it to 2014?

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

The C7 sales campaign has made a point of telling everybody we have Michelins now, after so many people whined about the Goodyear Eagle/Eagle F1's short life and poor handling. I was pretty sure they said run-flat too, since that was C6 policy and everybody's used to it. A high fraction of...

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

heehee, no, to break on through to the other side, BREAK ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE ... Run-flats, or zero-pressure or whatever, are not a factory option on the Gen V, and there's no spare, so I hope they give you a can of Slime or something for an additional $995. Wait, lemme look up...

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

Whaaaat? Corvettes don't bleach their paint and molest children. I'd say Corvettes are Saving Abel, Saliva, Disturbed, Godsmack, Charm City Devils, In This Moment, All That Remains, even Nickelback. Vipers are Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Bloodbath, Darkest Hour, Sworn Enemy...

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

Looks like it. "This vehicle, when new, had run-flat tires." 2014 Corvette Owner Manual 10-44. Good gravy, customer cars are only now rolling off the line and nobody's even gotten theirs yet, but already it's WHEN this thingy was new, it USED to have RFs, back in the day, sonny.

Is The SRT Viper Not A Great Driver's Car?

The last time I was at Lamborghini Carolinas, you would have overheard my side of this phone call-- "Oh hey ... I'm all right ... in Greensboro ... ahhh, say, I just signed for a new car ... no, didn't need a down payment, they just took my Honda in trade ... uhhh, yeah, I think I can make...

Is The SRT Viper Not A Great Driver's Car?

eeyup. I've never driven any car they tested, so what do I know, except-- I won't take any "best driver's car" list that ranks a 250hp FWD econobox (that had to be flatbedded at one point IIRC) ahead of a 640hp V10 supercar all that seriously.

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

The C7 is a huge hit with most of those who have seen it or driven it, in looks and every other way. But the Gen V has, even sitting quietly in the showroom, a commanding presence and charisma all its own. I'm sure a lot of eyes rolled at driveSRT's line "It Consumes You" but after being...

    Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review

It's not an either/or thing--get both! I'm working toward affording a Gen V coupe and C7 vert. Any chop I've seen of the Gen V vert is inferior to the coupe's looks, plus it would probably have a manual top and microscopic trunk, while the C7 works very well as a vert. Only need another...

2013 SRT Viper Hot Lap! - 2013 Best Driver's Car Contender

If you don't take him too seriously--how can you take somebody seriously who can't spell "krait" and doesn't know that kraits (1) aren't a disease vector for humans and (2) are elapids, not vipers--he is very funny and a welcome counterpoint to those who do take themselves a bit seriously. Like...

    One Strykingly Sexy Snake!

Glad you got it and more glad that it's better than you hoped for. My closest dealer told me months ago they were getting a "red" one and I said which red? They pointed to the Stryker Red little mockup on the Viper column. I haven't seen it yet so there may have been a mistake or...

    I'm Back!

Super pretty combination! Hope it stays unbroken and gives you lots of fun. A dealer near me just got hold of a black/silver GTS with not a lot of other options. Extremely tempting if my business goes well before somebody else snags it. Then again, you can have anything you want in this...

    Designing the composite hood

I wish. Bazooka Gum from under the average school desk or theater seat would have lasted longer than the Badyears that came on my C6 base coupe. Then there's the Z06/07 with PSCs made of what looks like a Silly Putty/Play-Doh alloy and will wrap you around a tree if you hit a puddle 0.01"...

THANK YOU for elevating the signal-to-noise ratio here. Then again, those who didn't understand this before are unlikely to change. "Waiter, I distinctly recall asking for table salt, but all you brought me was sodium chloride!"
