Anyone have any experience with these? It's time to ditch the 2 x 4 boards when loading/unloading the trailer. Can't decide on which model will work best with my set up. Thinking the RR-TR-5 will work the best. http://www.raceramps.com/trailer-ramps-5.aspx The front of the car with the splitter...
gbatejan,
I'm not following the point you are trying to make with Steve? Are you questioning whether or not there is an increase in piston surface area with the 6 pot caliper vs. the 4 pot caliper that you are using? Agreed, that simply using a larger pad doesn't equate to better braking, but a...
$24.95 for the big jug of 15/50 out here in Kalifornia. Wasn't there a thread about cheap Mobil 1 from Walmart a while ago that mentioned the oil being partialy out of spec???
I would contact Dan Cragin. He was selling the car on several sites a few months back. IIRC it had a stock motor with very little mileage -2K I believe. Best of luck.
A Miata is a momentum car. Viper, not so much. The power and weight are obvious. Braking, turn in, throttle steering, the list goes on and on. Hustling a Gen II Viper around the track takes work although there is nothing like it. I will be at Buttonwillow next weekend. Garage #4. Feel free...
You need to run wih this group. Many of us track our Vipers with this group. There will be about 6 Vipers at the Buttonwillow event next weekend. 4 of the 6 drivers are also instructors with this group. PM me for more detailed info. Tracking a Miata and Viper are completely different. Best of...
Yeah, my buddy has the wick turned down on the motor. I would say it is about 750 HP, but the weight is the killer. He is at 2600 lbs. That car is very wide, which makes it all the mre difficult to get around.
Car was fine. My pride took a little hit, but all went well. Exhaust consistes of TNT race headers, no cats and a short 12" long race muffler (don't know the brand) It is definitely loud and shoots wicked flames on decel and upshifts. Car is set to run a little rich to keep the motor well...
Here's one a firend put together some time ago. He's in the GT3 Cup Car, my other buddy is in the Roush Trans Am Mustang. This was a private track day where we were playing around. Lots of passing room and space given as it was just for fun and our cars were all classed together. Late in the...
Headers & RR's are one of the most expensive cost per HP mods you can do for the Viper. If you want a good bang for the buck upgrade, the do rear gears. 3.55 or 3.73's will give you a great SOTP feeling at 1/3 of the cost. On our race cars we originally had the stock tubular headers, we added...
