How many miles should a brand new Viper have?

Barret Jackson not such a good deal anymore..
I totally agree that this is misunderstood in genneral, I too did alot of research and based on what I am comfortable with I went this route. Each owner needs to research and make their decision on what they are comfortable with.- xlrashn

I am a long time State Farm client as others have stated. I have a 97 B&W GTS and pay $382 per year. 250/500/250 coverage with a $500 deductable, stated value as well. I beleive the only restriction is 5000 miles per year which isn't a problem for me since I spread my "playtime" driving over all...- xlrashn

Any younger owners get this?
Trust me, you don't need to be younger to get those type of comments. I am in my early 40's and own my own business and will never drive the Viper to work again. The one time I did, about every other customer made some off handed comment like "well I guess I paid too much" or" apparently someone...- xlrashn

Bounce plus bottled water= no more bugs!
I found that it left a film/haze that I had to use detailer to then get rid of. I just use the detailer as I always have. Spray it on and let sit a minute or so and the bugs come off fine... seemed silly to add an extra step.- xlrashn

Broke down and took her out
WWWWAAAAAAAYAYYYYYYYYY to much salt, calcium chloride, and crap on the roads here yet. We have the same problem someone stated earlier, A LOT of snow melting with the warm temps so the roads are really sloppy as well. Would be a rough drive anyway, as we have a ton of frost heaves that have yet...- xlrashn

I would have to agree that it is not to the taste of most, myself included. Having said that, I did take the time to visit with the owner at VOI in Salt Lake City, and he really is a nice genuine car guy.
