Anyone put a back up camera in a GTS ?
I Have the camera mounted just above the rear exit exhaust pipes with the wire running behind the Autoform 4 blade rear diffuser. Here's a couple of pics Note the distance of the Viper from the rear view camera ;) And this is the same view from the rear view mirror! :omg:- Fatboy 18

Thanks, Yes there is a wire to connect the reverse on the back of the din unit but I also use the camera as an extra rear view mirror. Passengers love it on charity track days (watching out for those Ferraris and Lambos who fancy their chances overtaking fast red Vipers) :D- Fatboy 18

Anyone put a back up camera in a GTS ?
I've got one :) But it only comes on when I flick a switch, it is not linked to the reverse gear, so I can have it on anytime ;) I have a single din 7" flip out display unit, Sat nav, Dvd etc, etc.... Zenec510...- Fatboy 18

Gen II GTS Fuel Tank Issue
There are race tanks available, but these are placed in the trunk area where the spare wheel would sit, so its not a direct replacement for the OEM fuel tank. I'm sure a good fabricator could make one up to fit. But with anything like this, cost would be a factor!- Fatboy 18

Got some professional shots done :)
Gotta love that colour combo :2tu: Great shots. I have lowered my car with spring caps, if you do lower it watch out for speed ramps dips in the road surface etc, you will rub the front underside, Fit a Snakeoyl chin guard.- Fatboy 18

Gen 2 owners with cooling issues step inside...this may help you.
Great Pics, I too have had this issue, the red plastic terminal holder on my car looked exactly the same as yours. I used a needle file to clean the terminals to remove the carbon from the arcing, replaced the relay and now carry a spare relay. The rewire might be the next step if I get any...- Fatboy 18

First Time Viper Owner- Hennessey 500
Yes, The Chrysler Viper had slightly different specs to the Dodge Viper sold in the USA, They were running a slightly different exhaust system and tune (i think). Viper Baz UK knows the full spec. Our fuel is of a different Octane to yours too Regular Unleaded over here is 95 and Super is...- Fatboy 18

Wow :headbang: Question, was that colour scheme an option for the RT/10? I know the 1996 GTS came out with it, but I don't recall ever seeing it on an RT/10? Looks Great, Ive seen the colours the other way around, White with Blue stripes. What year is your car, looks like you're running...- Fatboy 18

First Time Viper Owner- Hennessey 500
If you do take the car on a Dyno make sure they tie the car down on the frame, NOT the rear aluminum wishbones. These have been known to fracture ;) If you look under the rear of the car you will find some slots in the rear frame they can Hook onto. ;)- Fatboy 18

got fog lights?
Had to use my fog lights on my GTS Saturday morning, a bright sunny day but the road narrowed slightly and entered a dark deep wooded area which ment headlights were needed, the edges of the road were also hard to see so pulled the fogs on and this helped me avoid the rutts on the edge of the...- Fatboy 18
