Are Baby has made the cut its in Gran Turismo 6 Check it out

Neither of these are real driving simulators. They are just fun racing games with very tunable cool cars.

Are Baby has made the cut its in Gran Turismo 6 Check it out

I am an avid GT and Forza fan, but GT has long since set release dates that they never even come close to. I will definitely get GT6 when it comes out, but I won't hold my breath for it by the end of the year. GT is compatible with Playseat, where Xbox really dropped the ball on that part. I...

The Saga of the Dinged Up Dodge

Very nice. Let the rich guys keep the factory in business and the rest of us will keep the old ones on the road. I think as time goes on you will see more and more restorations on these. I can honestly say that the old ones still attract my attention more than the new ones. It drives me nuts...

    2010 ACR vs GEN V

There seems to be a lot of back and forth in this thread, but the facts are that the speeds are what dictated the outcome of the race. Take 10 mph off and the Gen5 would have faired better, add 20 mph to it and watch the Gen4s poor 5th gear ratio hinder it. With the kind of torque these motors...

A Review by Someone who Gets It

The "makes you feel alive" comment is where I believe he gets it. The F and P cars morphing into fast fluff is exactly what they have become.

Took a look at a new Gen V yesterday.

I know the feeling about the sub par treatment from dealerships. When I first went to look at the Gen5 at a local dealer which I purchased my Rubicon and Durango R/T from, I received the same type of crap. Granted I was only driving a 96 GTS when I went there, but the new one was in the garage...

Epic Suckage! another 998 gusset recall done wrong :-(

I had mine done a few months ago. I never could figure out how to get the filter out, it just wasn't happening. I ended up cutting the gusset, it had to be removed anyway. Mine had regular oil changes done, Tom Sessions noticed my motor mount wasn't lined up perfectly. What we came up with...

    '13 GT500 vs '13 Viper - Video

Good run actually. I'm kind of surprised the Mustang got the hit on that. I would have figured the monster power the Mustang it putting out being hard to hook out of the whole. Good driving on the part of the Mustang driver, but the outcome is about what it should have been. The Vipers light...

New Owner of B/W '96 GTS

Nice car. I just purchased my 96 last fall and have put 6000 miles on it in 6 months of driving. It never loses that feeling. I was watching for the GenV to come out, but when the right 96 popped up at the right time, it was a no brainier and I'm glad I passed on the new one. It's crudeness...

    Ralph Gilles' Dyno Results

You need to show me how you came up with that. ACRucrazy, I agree with you and it's kind of what I was getting at. Even an apple to apple comparison still has a lot of variables. Its why I don't care much about the numbers. If Ralph's car now traps higher than others, it means more to me.

    Ralph Gilles' Dyno Results

It's just a Dyno number, although a good one. If other cars that day were pulling good numbers also, it's the Dyno not the car. I would be curious if any others were on that same Dyno that day? We get too caught up in the numbers, although I will admit a ZR1 pulling better numbers that the...

Gen 2 to Gen 4 Engine Modification

Please keep the updates coming. There is a whole lot of work to adapt the Gen4 top end to the Gen2 bottom end so it will be interesting to watch the progress.

Have the discussions on the VCA site gone to hell?

Remember, there was a lot of temporary banning that became permanent of a lot of the knowledgable members on here. I won't mention names, but for those that have been around awhile, you know who I am talking about. Another key note is that a lot of long time members of the club are now only...

Have the discussions on the VCA site gone to hell?

I agree Bob, please see my signature. I place at least some of the blame on the Gen 4&5. With these cars being for the most part untunable, the gear head aspect of the car is being lost. Most buyers won't ever post technical threads on the new cars because for the most part the electronics on...

    Question for GTS Owners

I find that the AC blows nice and cold, but it has to overcome the hotter than normal cabin. I usually don't know how much of a difference the AC makes until I turn it off and open the windows.

    Gen-2 Viper for Shorter guys?

This I completely agree with. I like some space in between me and the steering wheel. If my arms aren't at the proper angle I never feel comfortable in a car. I guess you have to make sure the car fits you, but still make sure you fit the car. The only pedal that really needed to be up...

    Gen-2 Viper for Shorter guys?

I'm 5'9", all I had to do was move the pedals up, short legs, long torso.

250 miles in on my Viper - a few things I don't like...

Maybe he's the body builder type that rips his pants getting out of the car. Please don't race any Corvettes and then stop to talk.

thank you Steve-Indy, ipetrov, The_Greg - what a great club!

Steve's a riot. That guy is an encyclopedia of Viper knowledge. I wish I had gotten in contact with him before I bought mine and had a proper inspection considering it came from Indy. I got lucky, but it was by pure luck that I ended up with only an oil leak, but a solid car none the less.

250 miles in on my Viper - a few things I don't like...

Lets face it, it's really is the first Viper that just about anyone can own. Keep arguing with Dan, he doesn't know squat about Vipers.:eater:

    White SRT with track package

Nineball, that to me is the perfect car. Yours is probably is probably exactly the way I would order one. I wish they could take more of the fluffy interior items and bring down the price even more. A set of Race seats and harnesses would be great interior options. I wonder how much of the...

    Indy C&C

It's an embarrassment to the entire state, so all you can do is have fun with it. Lets face it, this state isn't known for its honest politicians. I wish we had crossed paths down there, but as soon as I got there Tom got to work on my car and as soon as he was done I got on the road. I spent...

    Updated Pics

Beautiful ride. I completely agree on the Sport Cups. While I only have stock Gen2 HP, its nice knowing the tires grip nice enough that I never really worry about it coming around on me. Yours was the motor that really got me thinking about a NA build, money is the only part not up to the...

    Indy C&C

I saw your car when I had mine down in Indy for service. While I am not a fan of convertibles, your car was nothing short of stunning to look at. At least I hope I was looking at your car, I believe it's a 1 of 1.
