LOL...Had to laugh at that one. Yes I own a Viper and two other high performance cars. Sorry if it was offensive to you. The Viper as much as I like it Im sorry to say could be in trouble as I agree with the original post. I think maybe youre the one who doesn't quite get it....genius.
"I don't know where you're getting this stuff...but again you are complaining about the price and performance - both of which have a very favorable ratio in the Viper. You are getting a car that outperforms $500K+ imports and looks better doing it, for as little as $100K."
"Dodge dealers...
I agree with the post. Beside the lack of power, people are just not that fired up about spending 120K + for an American made car, especially a Dodge/Fiat. The car is continually passed over in articles profiling high performance or exotic cars to have. Yes there is one or two around but not...
To be completely honest I found the guy always rude, arrogant and his items were overpriced. He was nothing more than a drop shipper. With that being said, people should have the option to go or not go with him. I chose wisely to not patronize him. It should be a choice however. Why was he...
Agreed. Viper is not really an exotic so to speak. Its more of a low production muscle car. I agree with you though it was a mistake to try and cash in and make a Viper truck. In my mind definitely took away some of the prestige of the car.
Yes take a good look. Hennessey doesnt have the best reputation and has been known in the past to have not actually done the work on a car that was charged. He himself admitted to me on the phone a couple of years ago that he had some problems some time back but that he has rectified things.
Definitely the Ford GT has retained its value. Ive looked at them since even a couple of years ago and they are going for about 25% more today than they did then.
You ask if the Ferrari and Lambo hold their value as well as a Viper? As much as I love my Viper those cars hold their values much better in general. Viper seems to be hanging in there but other than a couple of models, not like Ferrari. People just love those cars. Not only because of the car...
The dealership owns the cars. They certainly can let you test drive if they want. However, with that being said, I understand not letting just anyone test drive the car. I think if they felt you were a serious buyer then the test drive wouldnt be a problem. I didnt test drive mine. One buying...
The Vette would be cool if it wasn't for that rear end. Just ruins it. And for some reason, GM just can't make a good interior. I can't figure out why.
I know my gen 3 has a battery saver feature which I use all the time. I've left my car sitting without starting for as long as three months using this feature, and the car started strong. I assume the gen 4 has the same available feature.
While the Viper is certainly not a common car, its hardly a rare car. I think so few are seen that most owners don't drive it a whole lot, including myself. However, as far as the number of Vipers, there are plenty around.
