The story goes like this: I drove my Viper up to a small town Dodge dealer and noticed an SRT Ram QC sitting there. I parked the Viper next to it to check it out. He comes the salesman. He says "That sure is a nice Corvette you have there". He was dead serious! I said "Dude, that is a Viper...
Dan:
I don't run it hard when it gets low but I also don't want a full tank and the extra weight if I'm going to "get it on". When I get near a quarter tank, I am hunting for a gas station very easily and sometimes the light comes on before I get there. It seems as if the last half of the tank...
Is there an adjustment for the low fuel light? I think mine is off. When my light comes on, I still have 4 gallons in the tank. And it comes on often with the new Paxton installed!
That is the reason why the stripes are wider in the back of the car. If you ever fly directtly over your car you will see the lines of the Viper and that the car itself looks wider in the rear. The stripes need to be wider to look right. All fatory stripe coupes have the air difusser painted...
Those are tough stripes to copy. If you measure a factory car you will notice that the size changes gradually from the front all the way to the trunk by about an inch or more on each stripe. I took measurements in 10 different places and got 10 different sizes. This is not a "do it yourself" job.
Does anyone know why the Viper is so high in the first place? Someone told me it was a Federal thing. So much ramp percent grade and headlight height etc. Anyone know the real reason?
Austin:
Can you turn the yellow helicopter and viper to pink very easily (like pushing a button)? I don't want you to go through a whole lot of wasted time. I do remember a Panther Pink Challenger TA I had 25 years ago. I think a Panther Pink Viper might be wild. and with black wheels and black...
I just had motons installed by Woodhouse. I am shocked at the difference! It is now a great ride. I had my doubts, but everything Bill P. said was true. They are well worth the money. Where I first noticed it was on some of our crap roads here when the Viper didn't dart all over the road. It is...
I'm impressed Sween. You guys really did your homework. Keep an eye out. There is a guy from Northern CA looking at buying the Viper Huey next week. And No, the car does not go with it!
It was a fun project. When I told everybody we were going to paint a Bell UH-1 Helicopter Viper Racing Yellow, I got a lot of resistance but when it was over they all changed their minds. This is a very custom and heavily modified helicopter that is for sale for $1,000,000. It has 1800 Shaft HP...
Well the story goes like this: Our company overhauls helicopters and we were building one up for the world helicopter show and wanted one that stood out of the crowd. We all got in a car and drove around all the new car lots looking for a color that stood out the most and guess what, it was...
