How can GenIVs barely edge Z06s, when Gen IVs are running on par than ZR1s?????? I guess ZR1 barely edge Z06s :dunno:
Either way, all very fine vehicles.
I purchase a GoPro HD Motorsports HERO Camera from Amazon. They sell the suction cups and swivels as well. I have used it for multiple events, and in different parts of vehicle, including my helmet. The HD above can shoot in 1080 or 720 wide angle. Besides a camcorder, it also serves as a...
Getting them to let me test drive the car (without a deposit) was a real arm twist. They gave me the usual "we don't allow joy rides b.s", probably since I was still in my 20s at the time. Anyway, with $$ in hand, I did persuade their manager to let me take it out, but not to a tech. In...
Just pull the belt out and go for a spin. [Warning: you will not have power steering, cooling fan, or an alternator charging your battery and you will probably get a CEL]. However, its a sure way of knowing if your noise is induced by the engine or an accessory.
My $.02
I actually bought my '03 Viper at Texas Direct Auto a few years ago when their business was still out in their old location in Missouri City. I saw the ad and decided to go for a visit. It turned out to be quite possibly the best vehicle purchasing experience ever. It was a no haggle pricing...
Glad to hear things are still moving along. The idling sounds really really good :2tu:.
Hopefully you get everything sorted out and post some dyno sheets
I purchased a few parts from them. Great customer service. One of the parts had a small scratch. They called me up to explain the issue and even offered a discount for the minor anomaly. Positive experience on my part.
I completely agree Tony, that blower does have a very nice broad curve. That 2500 can pump out 25% more air than the 2000, and their back-to-back dyno runs prove that with an almost 20% increase in power on the big end!!!
According to the Paxton site, the new 2500 flows 2000 cfm, versus the NOVI 2000's max of 1400 cfm. That 600 cfm difference is huge. The truth behind their respective performance lies in their pump [efficiency] curves. I was hoping to find them just like Vortech's, but apparently Paxton does...
I don't have Belanger's with stock exhaust, but I do have American Racing Headers with no cats, and the stock exhaust, including the cross-over. I absolutely love the sound. It deep and mean when on the throttle, but as quiet as stock when cruising at highway speeds. Absolutely zero drone...
The TB does look really good Alan. That big blade does look like it could swallow a lot more air. Please provide some feedback on any driveability differences once you put some miles on it.
I use my HRE/Invo setup on the street, and the SSR/Kumho V700s for the track. However, I have driven them on the street for a couple hundred miles on the way to/from the track and for a couple of those grudge matches in Mexico. And yes, they do make a big difference, the car feels lighter all...
Wheels weights for you:
