My 94 Viper has just had another battery go down. This last one was purchased in Nov 02 and I only put about 4K miles on the car. I use the car at least 8 months a year as I live in NY.
Seems quick for a battery to die, is there a problem with the alternator by chance?
Any other ideas or is...
I made the mistake of letting my brother in law take my viper out for a "spin" and when he came back this light is now lit and won't go away. He swears he didn't do anything when he drove it, especially activating the alarm. However, I can't get the light to go off and was wondering if anyone...
Well we got 20 inches here in Charlotte on Friday so the weekend sucked for riding as the salt and sand are all over the roads. Some rain coming this week to take it away, then 70 degrees days and I'll be out with my baby!
I had the same problem with my 94. The symptoms are definitely dead battery. When the battery runs down the alarm is automatically set so that you can't start the car until you disarm it.
Simple problem with a simple solution. Changing the battery was simple, it just took so long due to the...
My '94 started right up after I installed new battery and had the alarm reset. I lost my keyfob ($75! ouch) and when I replaced my battery I must have engaged the alarm.
The tech from Lake Norman Dodge, Brendan, actually came to my house with the new keyfob and programmed the keyfob which...
Re: HELP, Viper won\'t start!!

Re: HELP, Viper won\'t start!!
I just tried to jump it. It definitely made a difference as now I'm able to get it to barely turn over, but not start. It almost seems as if it can't get enough spark to start. The jump did get the engine to begin to start, but it can't stay started.
I...
HELP, Viper won\'t start!!
I tried to start my Viper today and all I got was the clicking noise of the starter turning but the engine wouldn't kick over.
I thought it may be the battery, when I turn the key to the "on" position the battery meter only goes to the red zone. However, the lights...
Anyone live in NC and had to put the inspection sticker on their Viper? What if I didn't put the sticker on and just kept in my glovebox? The sticker is big and ugly and don't like the idea of putting any sticker on my Viper.
Anyone have this problem in other states?
