redlined bad now not running right

This is hilarious, guys. TWISTER, do THIS, use a vacuum gauge on a direct vacuum source---like the power brake booster line. This will tell for sure if something is wrong internally. It's quick, but will not tell you where the problem is or what it is. Attach the gauge, start engine watch...

Best 93 Oct. Gas to Use?

Try purchasing race fuel just once, expensive but a unique experience. The smell alone is worth the 8 bucks a gallon. I don't know why, but my car ran much better on it. All stock internals with just a mild tune. John

3:55's, plenty of comments about this, do a search. I have them in my 06 and they're perfect.

    After market throttle body

Like others stated, I did not dyno before or after and did not notice any change, although if there would be a small increase, I would not recognize it anyway. I installed the Sean Roe single plate and had zero problems. Idled normally and acceleration was good as well. Worth the money? Just...

redlined bad now not running right

A simple check using a vacuum gauge can rule out/in valve piston damage quickly and easily. Do that first if it's a bouncin at idle, you have an internal problem. EASY

    Same trailer stolen again!

It was suggested at the last recovery of my Featherlite 3110 that I install a Lojack, but noooooo. Now it's gone again. We have a good idea who took it this time. My question now, is there a better tracking device than Lojack or just go with that? I'm buying another trailer Saturday and want to...

    Future Viper

Speaking of emblems, you do know that the nose emblem is merely glued on with some type of double sided tape. Just peel it off and stick a new one on.

Getting ready for my 1st Viper...answers & Opinions PLEASE

My vote is for the stock one. You can always mod it later. Not to start trouble with the modded folks here, but S/C engines are under much more stress and therefore subject to a possible failure of some type. You can always mod at your convenience, and as finances allow. Just my .02. Good...

Wheel hop = Blown rear end :( Be careful

Check the hub at the outer portion of the half shaft. I twisted one in half during a drag race. Mine was on the left side. Jack up the car and take a look. Did not hurt anything else and was fairly easy to replace. Good luck, John

    Learn to Park

ok, this is/was not right but it was funny and I learned a lesson. I found a handicapped mirror tag in an abandoned car which was left at my shop (YEARS AGO). Wife and I went to dinner and I hung the thing on the mirror after parking in a handicapped spot. Jokingly, i pretended to limp into the...

    Uh, I did it again!!

C-Note--I believe towing is a no no with these trucks. The frame is too light to handle the engine torque pulling a trailer, but getting wood (pun intended), should be fun. I looked at them back when they came out -only manuals back then, but went with an extended cab Hemi-Ram, loved that truck...

Guess I Found my AC Problem

Rebuilt AC compressors will never last long. For the slight difference in price, go with new. As mentioned by Eurochristo, it may be working properly. From your description of the problem, I would guess the problem is merely a low freon charge. AC compressors are meant to cycle to prevent...

Try Ebay, I bought my Bellangers complete used set including side pipes. Don't remember the price, but knowing my spending habits, I'm sure they were cheap. John
