This does not affect the view. Looking out the rear view mirror you look between the wing and trunk and you don't see it in the side mirrors and over the shoulder you will see the end plates but it doesn't block much of the view.
I think my angle is the same as this one. If you look at the end plates they seem to be at the same angle. According to the dealer, body shop and mounting kit instructions this is the neutral position. If anyone has an aero coupe please let me know what hole your wing is in.
I'm considering a Pro-Line trailer. It's a 24'+ V nose 10K axles for about $4750 picked up at factory. I need to price the white interior and the road side door.
A lot of good input on a trailer here. So far I have decided on a black enclosed trailer with a winch and e-track in the front.
I will be loading by myself most of the time and a lot of the used trailers don't have the driver side exit door so that winch would be nice.
As for tow vehicle I have Peterbilt, Dodge Ram 2500 and Chevy Suburban. That e-track looks like a must. I was wondering how I was going to tie down the front. Car is having aero pkg installed this week plus car is lowered.
I haven't decided on open or enclosed yet but I sure like your trailer. Do you have enough room to get your drivers door open or should I look for one with a driver side access door?
I'll see what I can do, I need to get the car there on Sat. I'm trying to get a trailer bought today so I don't have to drive it 178 miles to the shop.
My car goes to body shop Sat. to start installing factory aero pkg. Thanks to Jon at PartsRack I saved thousands and the parts were at my door in just a few days. Infact the parts got here before I had a chance to tell my wife I ordered them. Yea I'm in trouble. Pics in about a week.
I agree the black/white looks good. I went with black/silver and aero couple parts are on order. As far a giving up my gen IV for a gen II no way, I love 600 hp.
I'm in the QC area (19 mi. east) and haven't seen any on the road. At the Northpark cruise in I saw a blue/white GTS and a red RT/10 with a street serpent kit. What color are you driving and I'll keep an eye out for ya? coupe or vert?
Another idea, go with the 08 outside measurements to keep out of the grills but bring the inside measurements closer together so the body color between the stripes is thinner.
I have the 08 but I like the wide stripes better. If you go with wider stripes on the 08 hood you may get into the hood grills. As far as paint code I don't remember what it is but there is only 1 silver on the paint chart for 06-08 Vipers.
