They sold more C7's in one day than total amount of Gen V's sold....ever.
Not surprised more people are showing up to the track in their mass-produced $60K commuter sportscars.
That being said, I have a private drag strip rental scheduled Nov 3rd. This is how Viper owners do it. :)
With attitudes like that, why should any of us vendors even want to advertise here?
GM embraces the aftermarket support, sometimes using ideas developed by the aftermarket and incorporating them into their future products. GM made available the coding, cylinder heads, engine blocks, even crate...
I gave my system an intense workout 2 weeks ago, when doing laps at MSR.... in the rain. ABS, ESC, all of it - were working overtime. I still had to drive the car and keep from going off, but the systems did kick in several times during those laps. Once I had learned the limits of them on the...

What a marketing fail. Might as well call it "Rad Blue". Because, well, it is rad.
It is not uncommon to spend $250-300 to ship a set of four wheels with tires mounted. A set of wheels without tires, usually around $120-140/set. All of our wheel manufacturers tend to use UPS Ground in the states, DHL international.
That is why the buyer always pays shipping :)
I'm in Houston. I bought mine out of Chicago. Sometimes you have to travel to get what you want. 1-way plane tickets are cheap, and the drive home is a great memory builder.
While some people might worry about bogus percentages, others of us are out enjoying the new Vipers. Until other people start paying for my cars, I'll decide what to buy and drive, on my own. Many of these internet arguments about car vs car are silly. Some of us just buy both cars in question.
I simply asked what you drive. I would like to know what sort of vehicle stirs you enough to purchase it. If you are embarrassed or ashamed, then I suppose you won't answer. I'd like to interject into your rant, and possibly give my own critique of your vehicle(s) of choice. I'll be...
Calculating from this site, we only have had 1 lemon Gen V posted. So, 1/436 sold = 0.2% of actual Gen V owners are unhappy with their purchase.
Horrible!
But, about 99.8% of non-owners seem to enjoy bashing on the Gen V, and making up statistics about them. :)
Knowing that fact, and your stance on them, I'll politely toss your opinions about these cars into the rubbish bin. The Viper isn't for everyone, and we owners are okay with that fact. Some of us even purchase ~eek~ more than one vehicle, in order to satisfy the desires/needs of all genres of...
Before questioning the owner of a Gen V on his sources of data, how about you spill it on where you seem to get your information on those problem cars?
Over 6,000 miles on mine, no issues to report. No dealership visits. I won't freak out if anything does occur, being a first year model.
Welcome to the site. I can read the excitement and passion in your post. We need more Viper owners like yourself, and less of the haters/trolls that have been visiting lately.
....
So, do you own a Viper or not? Have you owned a Viper or not? What year? If you haven't, then how can anyone here take your opinions on what Viper owners want, or need, seriously?
How about some background on yourself, Ian? What Viper(s) do you currently own? If you don't currently own one, what was the last model year Viper that you owned? I'm aware you had some early involvement with the 1st generation, but I'm asking which Viper you have specifically owned yourself.
With each passing day, you are sounding more like a bitter ex-girlfriend that SRT dumped. I've yet to see you bring anything constructive to this site, since you always deliver your statements in a confrontational and agitated manner. Quit assuming you are the most intelligent person in the...
I may have to buy another 5th gen Camaro. It will be my 3rd. The LS7 7.0L in the 2014 Z28 is my perfect Camaro. This car even has carbon ceramic brakes, but the Viper still doesn't. Dumb!
Hopefully you are spraying into both throttle bodies with the same nozzle arrangement on each side, to ensure an equal dispersion of nitrous into the intake. If just using one nozzle like that, I'd be concerned about some cylinders getting more than the others.
That video above is pathetic. Whoever was the "creative talent" behind the production should be removed immediately. I can (and have) done better with my own cameras and home video editing software.
For a fee, I'd be willing to manage the production of some kick-ass commercials for the Viper...
....Or, unwrap the factory supercharger option ASAP and begin touting the factory 750-800 hp that these engines are more than capable of.
Problem solved. Just do it.
