    Fan Mystery

With the ASD relay in, have you turned the A/C on to see if the fan works ?

Intermittent Squeal - Replace Lifters or Throwout Bearing??

No, you would have to pull the head/s.

    University Dodge - AGAIN!

Missing ? Running the A/C with low freon will not hurt it. It has a pressure switch in the line. If the freon gets to low the clutch in the compressor will not engage. I hope you didn't get that info from the Dodge dealership :dunno: 1. Freon wasn't blowing "very" cold.......added freon...

    University Dodge - AGAIN!

EXACTLY !! Repaired and then not working three weeks later sounds like they either missed part of the problem or misdiagnosed the first time. Probably not that unusual with freon leaks. It's easier to guess and get it done and out the door rather to take ones time and really go over it using...

    Roller Rockers...?

Don't forget Jesels. Maybe one step above T&D's. I ran Arrows for several years too....sc'd, w/m, nitrous with no issues. With T&D's, MAKE SURE the log bar is oriented correctly. It will bolt on two ways...one is correct and the other is not. For modifying the baffle.....After doing it several...

    My $75 tire rack/caddy

Thanks guys....every 30 years or so I actually DO have a good idea :D Any Viper owner worth his salt will have: 1. Four stock tires. 2. Four road course/autocross tires. 3. Two mild stickies for the rear (Kumhos) 4. Two drag radials for the rear. 5. Two slicks/ET Streets for the rear. 6. Two...

    My $75 tire rack/caddy

Been wanting to make a rack for a while but building one from scratch would take some time and quite a bit of materials. Saw this dolly on Craiglist for $50 and thought that it was a huge start. All I had to do was ad the four cross bars. Rolls great, spins on a dime. Much better than I would...

Power Steering Pulley (here we go again)

One word of CAUTION....... I recently did one with a Dave's Big Brakes pulley and the machined holes were not large enough for the bolts to go through. I had to pull the new pulley back off, put the bolts in the holes then reinstall the pulley. I had done another Daves before and it did not...

    Clutch Chatter Revisited

You can resurface them. I've had quite a few done. I have heard the same thing quoted from the manual.....I need to read it. I just haven't because I know what it needs and what every aftermarket clutch manufacturer wants which is a flat clean surface ;) I'm not a fan of aluminum ones either...

    Roe Supercharger for sale

Sucks that you had issues shipping yours. I have never had damage with one sent from Roe. They do a VERY good job boxing/protecting etc.

    Clutch Chatter Revisited

It might go away, but you should have had the flywheel surfaced. A stock or LUK should not be chattering.

Degree the cam w or wo the heads?

I agree. That's why it doesn't matter if the heads are on or not. You would not want to have the rocker on unless you have solid lifters. On hydraulic lifters with the head on I use a modified push rod length checker to bridge the gap between the lifter and dial indicator. This way you are not...

    Removing Crank Pulley

Seriously, and he called it a pulley instead of a balancer  :omg: The balancer is not threaded on, it's not even keyed ;) A normal harmonic balancer puller will work fine With the correct three bolts) A magnet will get the push rod but ....and you should know this with the work your...

    Removing the transmission...

Yea, your picture is showing the bell housing bolts not the transmission bolts. I never remove the shifter. There is one bolt on top that you can't see very well. You can also pull the wipers then cowling on top to get access or at least see it :)

Roe Running Rich at crusing speed

That should be clarified to say at wide open throttle, WOT. Normal cruise there really isn't a "too" lean.

Got a Roe Supercharger? Please read

Could be the fuel. Could be the cooler air. If different fuel doesn't help we could take a few degrees timing out. To me, detonation sounds like small gravels from a freshly paved road when they are thrown against the wheel wells.

    Went to the track Saturday.....

I couldn't figure out what the light or FIRE was under the back of the car :D Finally figured out that it's either the 330' or finish lights. The ones I have been familiar with don't really project a light beam like that.

    Went to the track Saturday.....

I was really wanting to get some six speed passes in before now but our local street car race is only two weeks away so I needed an outing to make sure everything was ok. This one race every year is the reason I even did an auto to swap back and forth with the stick. I was tired of being...

    Changing cam experience

The a/c condensor does not have to be removed and the engine and transmission can stay in place. Why go to the extra trouble ? :dunno: Pop the top of the condenser at the rubber tabs on top and pull it forward juuust a little. Been there, done that on multiple cars. I have seen a 1/4" room to...
