I'd take the GT-40 in fact I plan on buying one someday after the price gouging is over (white/blue stripes) to go along with the Viper (keeping the GTS). The only thing I don't like about the GT-40 is the supercharger, big cubes would be better. I would also take the GT-40 over the CC because...
Thanks for all your replies and offers to help. Well I spoke to JonB at PartsRack some time ago and he said Dodge throws away all the touch up paint after 3 years and he has not been able to find any. I also checked with my local dealer and they said basically the same thing, no longer...
Well I'm told touch up paint from Dodge is not kept over 3 years so I can't get any I need some 97 blue paint for 2 small areas - rock chip on hood (1/4") and a nice scrape on the bottom of the front facia (2") Anyone have a spare they want to sell? Maybe mix some up at a body shop? but the...

Hey I'll be the happiest person here if Paxton is making this kit with a street price of $3,200 so lets get some answers. Heck I'll even take a DLM Stage III kit for $3,200 (hint... hint ) but sadly I don't think either will ever be available at that price. So what's the big secret? The price...
First, if the price is really $3,200 then SVSi don't make the kit. So there is no need to buy the kit from ANY Viper tuner, especially the one that starts a post like this. If it's a paxton, powerdyne etc. all the authorized dealers for that brand will be able to sell the kit and there are...
I have no idea the color but it does look the same as mine so I would say its the 96-97 Viper blue. The original thread is below if you want to ask

WOW that's a very impressive! Did you do a burn out with the Kuhmos, or just a dry hop? That 1.69 60' is very impressive! Oh and it's a 100 shot on top of that 547 rwhp right?
Anyone know what the best time on radials is? Lee's 10.68 is the best I've seen.
Thanks for all your help guys! I've decided to go with BTR stage 2 (stock) heads and T&D rockers. The concessus seemed to be the Mopar aftermarket head would make a bit more power but costs $2k more. So I'm going to save the $2K and buy some ET streets & skinnies with it I'm sure that $2K spent...
So what do you think? Still looks like a Viper, no confusing this car for a S2000 or a Camaro.

All right... This is actually the new body kit from Autoform, so it's not really the next GTS. However this is what I imagined it would have look like prior to seeing the...
Get a set of S&B's and smooth tubes from Roe Racing, that's what I have. I hear the K&N's don't fit very good and have less surface area (but I have no first hand knowledge). Dodge would not have put K&N filters into the ACR Vipers without testing first, so I would say they are safe to use.
Re: Here\'s what I\'m paying for tires...stop me if I\'m making a big mistake...
Did you try Sears? I got a set of 4 sports installed, balanced $1,320 including 6% tax. These were 17" the 18" would be more. It's been about one year, so don't know current price.

Ummm lets get started... as you know the Viper is Americas premiere sports car... it has a huge V-10... distinctive muscle car styling... so who should we get to design the new Viper.... tough one... still thinking... maybe someone that has built muscle cars...

Good run guys! Looks like you both got better with each pass.
Ben why were your 60' so high even with ET streets? That 1.80 was good but the rest were not much better than stock tires. Just wondering as ET streets & skinnies are next on my list of things to get. I thought they would get you...
It seems that it shouldn't be too hard to test. Find two stock Vipers one with gears and one with stock 3.07's. Do some rolling runs, 2nd gear 40 MPH for example or 3rd gear 50 MPH and see if the geared car pulls ahead and by how much. Take the shifting and launching out of the equation, to see...
I would agree with the others, either it has 550 to the wheels or it's missing 500-700 lbs of weight. The automatic is the way to go for drag racing. Just look at that 133MPH and the 10.10 no manual Viper could ever hit 10.10 at only 133 most that are running 10 flat & 9.9's are trapping 140-145...
