Go with the mods, even if it's just headers and K&N's. You'll find yourself wanting to do some changes most likely after a few months of ownership anyway.
Matt, I see you have the virus. I've got about 5 emails from you. Actually had to block you now, just don't want to take the chance. So what did you get for your snake if I can ask, I know a lot of people thought you'd get nothing for it.
I think Matt was trying to sell his snake with 95k miles on it a few months ago. I just got "the virus" email from him (which i didn't open)I'm not sure if he sold it or not..... there was a post on it....
As a business owner myself (Most of us are here) we all understand how important a name can be (As well as the logo). Be careful not to narrow your focus too much. Do not include "Viper" in your business name or a word assoc. w/it such as snake, etc. Would you turn down someone who brought in...
Ask Wayne..... I think he's on his 200 and nth bottle of NOS and hasn't bought a single replacement item. Says a lot about this great car...... It's the first year of rental for our viper and no problems yet.... talk about abuse......
Keep in mind everyone that car seats in duel air bag cars with no lockout for the passenger side airbag is dangerous for kids. I believe your car can disable the passenger side airbag. My 96' gts has no lockout device, although I hear you can purchase one. Just be careful.
Re: Car won\'t start test
Sounds like my problem I posted, loose battery connection. So how did you get in your snake when you pressed the door button? Was your window down?
Driven Image is just a broker. They don't have any cars that they own that I know of. What they do is sign small to large rental companies onto their rental program so when you call them, all they do is call the company closest to you that rents the car you want and try to assign you the car...
It could be a lot of things. Right now the mechanism could be going up and down, just not attached to the window or your motor could be burnt out. Your clip could be off..... If your snake is under warranty just take it in. If not then take off the door skin and inspect the attachment and...
My motor went out on me a few months back on my 96' GTS and did the repair myself (No Warranty). Dealer wanted a grand. John at Partsrack set me up with the part. It took me about 2 hours but it's still working.....
Just curious. We are adding a 98' red convert, auto w/15k to our fleet Monday. I know when I bought the Viper what to look for as far as problem areas are concerned (break fluid color, etc.) Are there any problem areas for the C5? Ran carfax already and it came back o.k. Thanks.
Wish I could go with you but the car is out. I guess that's a good thing. We'll have to hook up one of these weekends. I think the car can get into the 11's, although it is not even close to stock.
The plate holder I made does not require any drilling. Just buy some 1/2" weather striping for the back of the plate and the brackets. It hasn't moved since I put it on. I also have a clear cover on it. On the cover, you have to modify (Cut) the bottom middle lip so that it is flush, as it...
