The 06 that I have is no better. Its flat out missing a number of them on the trim, and a few on the body panels.
If I could remove the badges, as it seems I can, I would. Heck the side SRT badges look like they were put on my a drunk they are so war off level and falling off.
They have a reasonable reputation in the tuner world, I would have to look at it pretty close to see the weave if I can going to leave it carbon but I would have not trouble if I was going to sand and paint.
I know its not OEM but would something like this work. 1200$ in stock. Just add paint and fitment.

Cool, talked to him. He suggested the 08 takeoffs over the Mopar, along with a few others, which I am going to sleep on, 3.55 gears and k&N intake.
Will also order the skift shift from him and he turned me on to the maker of the interior products he sells so I can track down exactly what I...
Anybody got a idea on what a Mopar street exhaust will run me. I have seen then listed ~650 or so through google. I have seen buys at ~500$ on the board with search. 150$ extra buys a bunch of little extras through Parts Rack like the stereo knob and the cover for the "cup holder.", and maybe...
Actually this is a real problem. I have no idea how it could be resolved.Given the litigious nature of people now it could do more harm then good. Heck how would something like this be delt with it it happened on a fun run, or even in a small caravan of cars to the track. Is the VCA responsible...
My understanding is that the extended family of the Viper is the one doing it. Not specifically the owner who current is not speaking, that whole coma thing.
I will know more in a few days. I believe the CHP report will be released at some point. But to my understanding the FJ driver had moved...
I have heard a small bit more, Viper driver is in a induced coma. Viper family has already filed a suit on the FJ driver.
Given the CHP report which I have been giving the rundown on I doubt that will go anywhere. But the FJ driver has not even gotten out of the hospital and they are circling...
No idea on the year. I did not press to much for details just if anyone survived. My understanding is that is was a over throttle issue not a road condition issue but I withhold judgment until I see the pictures off the road condition.
But given that the viper was hit on the wrong side of...
Does anybody have access to just the tips as that would make this a straight forward affair for me in the garage.
Aftermarket tips look dead easy to fab up. Slip joint and a quick bend. Then out for chrome or polish. Heck make the ends titanium so they heat scorch. Would not even need to...
I will confirm that this is real as the FJ driver is a family friend. Who as of last time I heard, recovering.
Story as it has been told is the viper owner had picked the car up that day. Overpowered the tires spun into oncoming traffic backwards. Continued to spin and passenger side hit...
CR spotless is the systems that I like. But the MR Clean comes up on Woot every now and then for 3.99 gun and two filters. You can buy as many as you want. Much cheaper then the CR beads and dealing with low pressure.
Cool I am going to pull it apart tonight if I can get the chance. I went pounding around on the lower casing and was able to get the noise down to a reasonable level and get the fan up to speed.
Will Report Back. :drive:
EDIT
First viper techs must be real small to pull that job off in 0.8...
So I am not going to be able to do it tonight, looks like no AC for the Coronado speed festival. If I could just get a little bit of lube up on main bearing it would kill the noise for a little while.
Going to take the scope and see if I can se up in there to fix it.
Any clue where this part lives or how to get at it. It sounds like it is in the passenger footwell behind the glove box but I do not know how to get it out.
Logic tells me that its through the footwell but part of me things its under the cowl cover. Any thoughts or instructions.
Poster on the wall as a kid. Love the thing to death, even in car jaded California I get thumbs ups.
Its the first car I have owned that felt exotic and livable at the same.
Only been a owner for a while but that's a lot of downforce. The suspension on these things street wise seems pretty soft. Do you end up with problems at speed. Tire rollover hitting the stops that sort of thing. I can see the other prepped cars in the picture so I can assume you are not running...
