I sincerely beleave that Dodge is letting the Viper go out in style..
they are talking about a new 5th gear that lets the 2010 Viper get to 202 mph 15 seconds faster than a 2009 viper..And raises the 2009 ACR's top speed from 177 mpg to 183 mph for the 2010 ACR..
IT JUST WOULDNT SURPRISE ME TOO MUCH IF THE 2010'S DYNO 560ISH ON AVERAGE INSTEAD OF 540ISH...
Dodge is claiming a hole lot of added performance off a simple 5th gear ratio change that seems very slight anyway at .73 for the 09's to .79 for the 2010's...
I know money is a issue...And dont really expect you to do this...But I think beating the ZR1's 10.7 at 132 might be worth another shot in a 2010 Viper..
Dodge has to have somthing more up their sleave to make these claims than just a small 5th gear ratio change..
