    To answer the questions....no, no gromlet used, but used touchup paint to paint the new bare surface. After that, I also pu in a mesh screen on the inner part of the hood to better hide the big hole left behind. The water would drain right onto the clutch reservoir and closer to the metal...

    I think that the silver on red looks excellent and is the best color scheme. Of course, after the gunmetal grey with silver stripes. I told Gerald to get silver stripes so that his car didn't look like a candy cane, but his car will blow most of us away.

    I gutted that extra hole in the hood. If done properly, you won't tell the difference. I even installed a mesh covering on the inner hood to hide it better.

    If you are refering to the orange thermometer looking thing, it measures boost...J/K It shows the level/inclination of the low beam light. Make sure when adjusting, that you are on a level surface. You access the level by removing the rear cover of the headlight.

    Gen1 AC removal

    You have to open the heater box and remove the filter inside. I know since when we installed the kit, the non A/C heater box and the new A/C heater box were identical. I even returned it since it was the same. I did forget about the new belt though.

    I use an air compressor and blow the air out first, then dry the car. To remove the wax that may be on then, use plenty of tooth picks.
