I currently have the Borla cat back - (no rear muffler) version with sean roe high flow cats and want even more sound. It sounds pretty darn mean now but could use more noise. Is there another system I can consider which has perhaps equally deep tone but even meaner sounding, if there is such...
Re: Anyone Installed Snake-Oyls\' Headlight Covers?
PM set back. Includes both headlights and fogs. The fogs are cut for gen 1 fog light covers but can be easily cut into any shape.
I might be selling my Borla cat back exaust system if anyone is interested. It's about 1.5yrs old and comes with either 4 mufflers (for quieter) or straigh pipe in the back (more aggressive).
Re: Anyone Installed Snake-Oyls\' Headlight Covers?
I have a set brand new (never opened) for Gen1/Gen2. Similar to PartsRack http://partsrack.blastmart.com/customer/product.php?productid=1388&cat=153&page=1

Greetings. I think I recall seeing this before but does any vendor carry rear license frame that covers all entire recessed area - e.g. to the key hole. I believe there is chrome but I am looking for black.
Thanks
i was warned not to go full stiff in the rear as it may cause you to loose traction during high speed cornering and bumps on the road. I set mine at 50% stiffness - may be that's why I still have some wheel hop. Then again, I'd not worry about loosing traction during turns than some wheel hop...
I haven't driven that much after the spring install so may be it take some time for the car to settle and react differently. Also, I haven't aligned the car yet and didn't set my shocks at the most firm setting. Hope your situation proves out to cure the wheel hop.
Frog - I installed Eibach and adjusted the shocks and I still have wheel hop. I tend to think it may have something to do with my tires or worse yet may be my engine mount is broken...
First you have to remove the shock assembly from the vehicle. Compress the springs so you can remove the shocks to adjust them. I adjusted mine but I still have some wheel hop.
Greg - thanks!
Tracy - all went well until I freaking stripped 2 of my nuts  I have yet to even drive the car but I will soon. Thanks again for all of your help
While finishing up my Eibach install (story and pics later), I ended up stripping 2 of my acorn wheel nuts. I guess I used slightly larger socket and it stripped the edges of the acorn nut so they will not grip. Any idea how I can get them to turn??? Thanks in advance
Eric H - I am about 1/2 way through install, which spring compressor did you end up using from autozone??? I don't mind spending up to $50 but any more I'd rather pay someone to compress them. Any precautionary hints? Thank you
Re: Springs installed next week, should I have alignment done at the same t
I guess you could also use a jack to slightly raise the rotor to approximate ride height? So may be you could take measurements before you remove the shocks to see the approx ride height.
Also get the non-red marked tire. In terms of launching - a night and day difference. Not sure about cold but when they are warm, they will STICK. Perhaps further contributing to my wheel hop issue??!??!
I have this on my 02 GTS and are far stickier than the stock Michelin Pilots. Not sure how they compare to runflats. It gets so sticky that it picks up little rocks leaves etc.
