1. I own a Viper and it has never happened to me..
2. 17 is legal in France..
3. I am on vacation..
;);)
Serously though.. aside fromt he trouble with your wife.. I think you did the right thing irrespective of the fact that...

This Mr.Know it all is insistant that it is a Z3 which will beat it. The rest according to him (M3/M5/Z8/M roadster) will just walk away.
Another beauty from him is that the C5 has a 464 engine..
I have offered him a ride.. but he has always declined. Wouldnt want to insult my car with him...
A guy in the office told me that the Viper has never been crash tested by the NTHSA. I believe it has been.. but havent been able to find any information on it.
The guy in the office is a dolt.. who inists that the Viper is not only unsafe to drive but has only 300 ft/lbs of torque.. and that...

Yes it is very posible to roll a Viper, I know because it has happened to me. I had a 94 RT/10 hit a wet spot lost control. I ran off the road hit a brick wall and fliped into a telephone...
I do believe that at high speed the perfomance of the Z is close but quite not there. The Z is a quick car, and one that cane be made quite fast. I have seen a Lingenfelter TT run a 10.06 so I wouldnt quite want to mess with one.
Stock for stock.. the Viper's torque is about 100 ft.lb more so...

It is amazing...
Josh,
Was the car a salvage title ie totalled..?
Since it looks to me that the car didnt suffer too much damage, considering that even the air bags dont seem to have deployed.
BTW Jon B seems to be the person you should be speaking to for replacement parts..
I hope you have better luck than...

Relatively easy to flip / roll a Viper:
1) Slide sideways, hit a curb.
2) Go off the edge of a road on a downhill steep shoulder.
3) Go off-road/track in a curve. Slide sideways. Wheels dig...
