My car was very sick this week. My Mobil Speedpass destroyed the electonics on my security system.
As I handed the service manager my set of keys. First thing he says to me; Is that a Mobil Speedpass?
The Speedpass and the key fob should never meet on your key chain.
What ended up being done; Both computer modules needed to be replaced. The key FOB's had to be reset.
I had picked up the car 3 weeks ago from Fitzgerald Motorsports. The sign on the car specificly said 92 for sale as is.
Fitzgeralds covered the car on a 30 day good faith warranty.
I asked them to put a new battery in the car, and I was happy to pay for that.
They cut me an extra key for the car, no charge.
* They even washed the car with the top off. Then parked it in a seperate garage and locked my car up.
I will never take this car to anyone else for service. I felt taken care of. I got the feeling that they are as proud of these cars, as I am owning one.
Hats off to the folks at Fitzgerald Dodge & Fitzgerald Motorsports.
All my best, -Jeff
