James, sorry I did not respond sooner! I must not have received an email notifier!
For the base kit, we are using a T-04 .81AR with a 58 or 61mm Compressor wheel with 55lbs/hr injectors.
Here is a link to the latest update...
Hello all, this is a post to discuss several levels of systems and pricing.
As I was building my system, there were many who thought I was nuts to spend every waking moment I was not working my regular job in the garage..........
When we started fabbing up the DIY, my goal was to make an...

First of all, I would like to thank JDAWG for his help filling in the blanks here for the time when I am not on the computer! Thank you!
Inferno, I will try to answer your questions as best I can:
1. I think this install will be no...

Re: Monster Power Performance Bolt-on TWIN TURBO Dyno #\'s
TOOOFST, is the wife going to let you come out so you can go for a ride?
==> You will beg for mercy! :headbang:
Re: Monster Power Performance Bolt-on TWIN TURBO Dyno #\'s
womsterr, that is a very good question!
The simple answer is no.
I have never seen a supercharged Viper make 744 RWTQ or 648 RWHP on 5.75 PSI on a stock motor with roller rockers on 93 octane with the conservative timing and air to...
Eric, when are you coming over? We should be starting the car tomorrow if everything goes smoothly!
P.S. my cell phone is not working, just swing by if you can!
Adam, here is a general rundown for the basic, no cutting the car for an intercooler TT. I am using Precision Turbo turbos.
You can go with a pair of 76 GTS's and a big front mount intercooler if you want.
Here is where you can start: This is the basic non-intercooled bolt-on DIY.
Bolt on...
Casey, they go like on the blue car. At the Ultimate Street Car Challenge, I remember the guys from Brembo telling me I had them on backwards. I had them on like the black car. It was my understanding that when they face like they do on the blue car, the rotor slots cut into the pads better for...
John, the install should be no more complicated than the Roe blower. Very easy. The basic bolt-on system with the voltage booster and no intercooler should be no more than an 8 hour job for a qualified technician.
For a local guy like yourself, I am sure we can work you out a great deal on the...
Casey, I broke plenty of U-joints on pilots and stock power.
==>Besides, didn't you see this guy's screen name: big-n-italian......... need I say more? :D
Big-n-italian, exactly what kind of driving will you be doing? Street only? Roadcourse? Street tires, slicks and skinnies?
If you do not care about brake dust, I can sell you some ferodo(don't remember the exact model # off hand) front pads and some performance friction rear pads.
The...
Weed 53, turbo Vipers actually run cooler due to the fact that they are compressing air only under load(under light cruising, the turbos are just along for the ride.
Superchargers are compressing the air anytime the crank is spinning. Due to this, turbos are actually easier on the motor than...
Re: UPDATE: Pic of Paolo Castellano\'s DIY TT InterCooler
Adam, it is a 4" bar and plate core.
You are also correct about turbos stressing the engine less under normal/low load driving conditions!
I am glad you like the pictures! I will keep you posted! :2tu:
Re: UPDATE: Pic of Paolo Castellano\'s DIY TT InterCooler
Mark, there are several things to consider when sizing an intercooler.
1. You definitely need to flow a certain amount of CFM for a given target HP level.
Without #1, there are several negatives. Firstly, there WILL be a restriction...
Re: UPDATE: Pic of Paolo Castellano\'s DIY TT InterCooler
Jim, it's pretty simple, just a 90 in on one side and an out on the other side!
Functionality and simplicity for the bolt-on crowd! :2tu:
Superchargers are definitely reliable. I drove my Supercharged car across the country and back with no problems with a split second box for fuel management which is nowhere near as good as the Vec 2.
A supercharger should be a very healthy upgrade if you want a little more power.
What you need...
Hirollr. Skip the supercharger and go twin turbo!
We just got done installing the Roe supercharger on a Gen-1 if you really want one!
We also have a bolt-on twin turbo for the Gen-2 coming out shortly.
Good luck!
Dmitry, I am glad you like my dyno sheets! Keep in mind that was also on a 500 RWHP/stock stroke motor with hydraulic cam from the supercharger setup I had. No crazy solid lifters and solid roller cam like some have..... The 1278 RWHP was only at 5600 RPM, the dyno owner would not let me rev it...
