    Roe Supercharger - Oil Problem

Nick, there are a couple of things going on here. 1. If you have a 1996 GTS, you can get the updated 1997 and up oil dipstick and tube that goes into the block. 2. The main problem here is the stock breather holes in the front of the valve covers are too small to relieve the crankcase pressure...

800 RWHP on stock fuel system..... CPE TT

Earl, I am using the AEM and am pulling the boost reading off the back of the intake manifold. Are you measuring your readings from the exact same source with two different gauges and getting different readings?

800 RWHP on stock fuel system..... CPE TT

Mr Hemi Head, With how conservatively this car is tuned, I think the 800 RWHP# with C-16 with cast pistons would be safe as I remember reading about some Macedo car with a roe and nitrous making 800 RWHP on cast pistons. Also a slightly larger turbo than what was on the car would make the...

800 RWHP on stock fuel system..... CPE TT

Hello all! I would like to take this opportunity to share some of the data from the AEM datalogging we have done on John D'Amico's 1997 Gen 2 DIY twin turbo Viper GTS. I recently put a little bigger turbo on the car with the new air intake system and intercooler setup. I initially did some...

1999GTSVenom700, my power #'s were accomplished with a journal bearing 71mm turbos ad twin intercoolers behind the foglights. Forget the banked track, THere are plenty of s traight shots around here to get it done! You can call me at 630-878-3907. Paolo

Roe Blower and light flywheel???????? ASAP, Please!!!

I personally preferred the feel of the acceleration of the stock steel flywheel on the highway when my car was centrifugally supercharged to that of the aluminum one. I did not have that little friction disk that you need to put back into the center of the aluminum on and just threw the stocker...

Purchasing a RSI TT 1000hp package

Ian, what is everybody's definition of a tuner anyway? When I think of a tuner, I think of someone like John Reed who flys all over the world tuning cars for a living. There is really nobody who does every single thing themselves except for maybe Lingenfelter who has their own in house machine...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

Re: Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously Paul, you are correct. The great thing about Joe Dell's car with my twin 76 GTS twin turbo setup is that it is so easy to modulate the power. More throttle equals more load that equals more boost. Not only can you...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

Re: Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously Venomaholic, when the tires spin at 140-150 MPH, you have enough gyroscopic momentum in a straight line that you are less likely to go that far sideways as long as you are on a smooth road with no truck ruts. I would...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

Rocket62, the cost between the single and twin is about a toss up in terms of parts cost. The two smaller wastegates are about the same as a much larger one to bypass the gases for the entire motor. One big single is about the same cost as two moderately sized turbos. The fitment issues and...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

Rocket62, a twin turbo setup will always be more efficient on a V-motor given the sizing of the twins matches the size of the single from an airflow and backpressure standpoint. This is because the single always has to merge both banks together to go to the turbo. Usually path to the...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

Bruce, I have a lot of respect for all your road racing and overall experience BUT: You would just have to take a ride in a properly sized pair of 76GTS's TT Viper to feel what Rogue is talking about. I took the Derek Daily driving school in Joe Dell's car and I just can't describe how easy it...

Can you honestly use all this crazy boosted Viper horsepower? Seriously . .

PhoenixGTS, it all depends on how the power comes on. Smaller, turbos hit harder earlier making the power unuseable as compared to the more linear manner the big turbos build the power. Joe Dell's car with twin 76GTS's is fairly easy to put the power down on Pilots. 0-60 is not where the big...

05 Heffner Twin Turbo SRT-10 Coming To Completion

Insomniac, even without traction control, you will not make full boost in either 1st, 2nd or the 1st part of 3rd gear. The turbos need load to make boost. 1st and 2nd are not long enough, nor tall enough to load the turbos to make full boost anyway. ==> That's the beauty of running the...

    Updated CPE #'s - yowee! 1385/1367

Re: Updated CPE #\'s - yowee! 1385/1367 Ian, the bigger turbos use oval tubing to accomodate the 3" compressor outlets. The smaller turbos use 2" round piping.
