Cross reference for power window switch from another vehicle?

Sorry guys, I guessed it would be a lot more expensive as a Viper part number (remember I'm unemployed at the moment so I'm trying to cut back). At least one person on the board is not a hater and helped out with a part number. I would have never posted if I was allowed to use the search...

Cross reference for power window switch from another vehicle?

As an outlaw member of board, I have recently been demoted to not being allowed to use the search function. I need a new power window switch - the double momentary switch on the center console. I recall it is a part from another Mopar vehicle. Anyone recall what so I might be able to find it at...

    Need wheel ideas

Cool wheels and tires (I love one piece wheels and those six-spoke 09 are the best factory Viper wheel ever) but I do not see them in the classifieds.

What to look for when buying a Viper?

I think your general comments about paint condition are even more telling in a Viper than other cars, and I would like to add interior. Given the robustness of the Viper's drivetrain, and the generally low cost of drivetrain related repairs (compared to a German or Itialian car of similar...

    Need wheel ideas

Admitting I am biased towards one-piece wheels and really do not like the pimp/huge lip three piece wheel style, the most beautiful wheel out there with a Viper fitmet is the HRE Monoblock P40 and it is available in shiney or matte black. Only compromise is that the rears would be 12" instead of...

    Gearing Question........

Found a good one with google. Here is a link: Second Strike Gearing Calculator [EDIT] dang just noticed you cannot insert your own ratios on that one. I can't find the one I used to determined that with GenII-height rear tires, 3.55 rear gears and the .64:1 6th my car would theoretically be...

    Dyno Dynamics Pulls

Slight thread heist: after I bought my 98 GTS for the low price of $40k six years ago I found out that even though it only had 27k miles, in its previous life in Florida it had a large nitrous kit on it, ran 10s on slicks, and after dropping a valve and blowing the motor was rebuilt by a shop in...

Is there a better water pump to install?

I have an overdrive pump I got from West Coast Vipers years ago. It has a smaller pulley (smaller enough that you need a shorter serpentine belt) so it spins faster. Great combo with my underdrive crank pulley. Bad news is I remember not being able to find it when I looked a year or two ago...

    Dyno Dynamics Pulls

I going to repeat for the third time that I know that the preferred gear is 4th due to the 1:1 ratio. No one in the World wants to use 3rd instead of 4th. That is not what we are saying here. Apparently the Dyno Dynamics units have a limit as to how fast of a road speed they can spin and the...

    Dyno Dynamics Pulls

    1) I know why you dyno in 4th 2) back when I had stock gearing and Gen III height tires on my car my dyno operator (Dyno Dynamics which is what this thread is about) said at first he did not want to run it in 4tth as the tire speed would be too great for his own comfort zone but then when he...

    Dyno Dynamics Pulls

True but if you have stock gearing the the Gen III+ height rear tires the redline in 4th might exceed the comfortable tire speed the dyno allows - plus operators don't like running cars that fast on the dyno as it is scary as heck (what if a strap fails). Just goes to show how ridiculously tall...

    Dyno Dynamics Pulls

Those numbers are crazy low even for a Dyno Dynamics machine. My car has less mods than yours (listed below chart) and I still made significantly more power. BTW I have 3.55 rear gears so I did not have the overspinning problem and the runs were dne in 4th. On a funny note, the dyno dynamics 3...

    Help with exhaust

If your goal is feedingthe horsepower bug an exhaust will be one of the worst bang for the bucks out there. Yes headers make power, but not much compared to their huge cost on this car. And I think a search will show you that cats and cat-back exhausts don;t make any noticeable power. For a guy...

    Porterfield bedding in procedure??

Ran the Porterfiled R4-S for over year. Super clean. Super quiet. Barely stop the car. After finally owning up to the fact nothing happened when I hit the brake pedal at 100 mph (low speeds are fine) I gave up on them and put the stockers back in. Messy (so far still quite) but dang they stop...

Toyo 888 OR KUMO V700 REAR TIRES?

I recently switched from V700 to R888 on my car. The V700s had gone hard and lost traction even though they still had tread so going to the R888s was a huge improvement, but comparing the two when new, I would say the straight line traction is just about the same. R888 looks nice on the rim and...

Any canard or dive plane options other than GTSR/Autoform units?

I recently saw a nice modded SRT-4 at the gas station with odd litte flat carbon fiber dive planes. They were a little cheesy, but after searching and and finding some decent pics of the Mopar GTSR and Autoform canards it got me to wondering if anyone has any other options going for simple front...

Possibly Silly Question on Exhaust Change

They recently discussed this over on the Gen III board via DC Performance running a Gen IV car on the dyno with headers only. They got almost all the gain they would have gotten with a whole system but kept the car quieter. Having a noisy car and not liking it, I have to say this sounds like a...

Installed Autovation pedal covers - went well (picture)

Awhile back the rubber cover on my brake pedal developed a split.
