Hey guys just purchased my 02 RT 10. Has 8100 miles on it. Have a klunking sound when I drive it and do the following. Turning the wheel left or right starting off slowly and engaging the clutch I hear a klunk coming from the rear. Sometimes it doesn’t happen but other times it does. Almost feels like the rear is shifting an inch when it makes the noise. When the clutch is in there is no noise on turns what so ever. Do u think it is a loose wheel hub? Differential fluids? Any suggestions appreciated!

It's probably just the lubricant in the rear end. It needs limited slip additive. Part stores have it or use Mopar 4318060AB.

OK update on my 02 rear end clunk when turning and engaging the clutch. Changed all the fluids and added the dif additive, changed the wheel hubs and clunk is still there. Any more ideas guys. Looking at differential and uJoints next i think?

Probably worth getting the car off the ground and start moving some parts around. Half shafts, u joints, transmission mount, etc, etc, etc. Plenty of things can start clunking around under load. Ideally a visual inspection will reveal something that looks out of sorts, otherwise you'll have to get hands on with your process of elimination.

Agree, The 2002 RT 10 is very low mileage at 8100 miles so just have to find what is causing it.
The good news is I replaced the factory exhaust with the Borla S and now it sounds the way I like it!
