    Help on gauge pod needed

The other alternative is to use a single pod mounted on the steering column. There is an aftermarket one made for the Dodge truck that shares the same column that fits well.

Trying to contact Scott from Elite in Tampa

Mark, I completely understand where you're coming from, and everything you've said is true, but don't worry about being scammed. Scott will get you your parts or your money. I sent him an e-mail today as well about an issue I have, and I'm sure he'll take care of it when he is able. His son...

Did you try his e-mail? That's usually the best way to reach him.

UPS damaged HRE rim and is refusing to pay!!

They should pay after you go through the PITA claims process, but I think their liability is limited to $100 or $200 unless you bought the optional insurance.

The Walbro is not a direct fit. It can be made to work, however.

    Dusted a Cobra Mustang Tonight

The most common myth about the H2 is that "it's built on a Tahoe/T800/shared chassis." The reason for this myth is because the designers indeed made some use of a Tahoe chassis. The front and rear sections of the H2 chassis and driveline are beefed up, modified versions of the existing...

    Dusted a Cobra Mustang Tonight

As every Viper owner knows, it is a people magnet of the highest order. Interestingly, after owning a large cross-section of high-end vehicles over the last 30 years, the vehicle other than the Viper that comes the closest to this phenomenon, by far, is the H2. Based on your knowledge of its...

    Roe supercharger install is done!!!

Correct, there is currently no intercooler available for it, but Sean has tested a prototype and one should be out in the next few months. The Autorotor doesn't create as much heat as a centrifugal and doesn't need an intercooler at lower boost levels. No, I mean stock unported heads. The...

    Stock fuel pump

The stock pump is good to around 680 rwhp with a boost a pump. Over that people use lots of different setups, such as a Walbro 255, or if they're looking for more serious power an Aeromotive or Weldon (or at times a pair of new pumps).

    milling stock heads

Stock pistons are .035 down in the hole. Combined with a stock .055 gasket, stock piston to head clearance is .090 (at least on the newer cars; I have no idea if it changed over time).

    Rev Limitations

No problem. There are a couple of reasons no Viper drag racers, including those who have unlimited funds for upgrades and run 9's, go your route, and neither of them is because it can't be done or because it's too expensive. It's because it doesn't make any sense.

    Roe supercharger install is done!!!

The problem you'll have is the stock heads and boost creep. The stock heads with this blower and no charge cooler apparently create more of a restriction & heat at that level than it's worth, so you get little or no return (and might even be worse off) for going beyond the 8 lb pulley. I'm...

DC Performance: Dyno Up And Running!

Looks great Dan, congrats! Have you done any other AEM installs since the Paxton car? BTW, I received the lifters today, and thanks again for the fast service.

GUYS I NEED HEL LIKE RIGHT NOW!!

I don't know what most of that means, but making an immediate decision on what to do with a $50,000+ car based on what the first anonymous internet poster or two says sounds like a bad idea to me.

Whats the correct Air PSI for Kumhos Rear 18s

I bought some rears from JonB today and TireRack also has some in stock. What do you mean, just how the car corners? I haven't tried the Kumhos yet, but by all accounts they are FAR stickier than the Pilots (as a competition tire should be). I would think that Kumho's on the rear and Pilots...

    '96 Blown GTS, Pictures....

Re: \'96 Blown GTS, Pictures.... The 925 rwhp was just an experiment Kevin and Matt did one day to see how far they could push it with a very aggressive tune. Kevin immediately "detuned" it, if you can call it that, back to around 875 rwhp. And I think it may be more in the 13-15 psi range.

AEM EMS Release Date End of This Month

Chris, you're not advocating DIY tuning with the AEM are you? I thought it was pretty much a tuner only setup given the enormous number of variables. Or are you just talking about fine tuning a little after starting with the base maps that come with it? Do you know whether AEM plans to do...

    Hennessey HELP

Re: [******] HELP Marc, it's not silly at all. I didn't say the lack of problems lately excused what he did in the past, or that anyone should or shouldn't deal with him. I was just curious as to whether there was any evidence that the "new" HP was having complaints. People can make up their...

Supercharging ?? What $$$ would i be looking at???

We see it in new owners posting their dyno numbers. Doug hasn't updated his website numbers in several years, and they were conservative to begin with. He likes to underpromise and overdeliver, and the Level 1's have been making low 700's for some time now.
