Pick your races better next time ! Save us all the embarrassment !!

Might be a great idea to invite members of the Corvette Club on down to CAAP sometime, to see how the Viper is made! I think they would be genuinely impressed. I know I took a dyed in the wool Chevvy guy out for a ride in the ol '94 last week, and his first comment was " I haven't felt...

Exhaust system question fro 94 RT/10

Is the stock exhaust system 2 1/2" diameter pipes through the mufflers? I keep seeing some posts as 3" while others mention 2 1/2" size, what's right for a stock exhaust in case I want to put in less restrictive mufflers?

Got the V mania Hard Top and Windows....

Got our windows about a month ago, and they match up well against the soft top. They really make a difference in how much road noise is filtered out. We could set the stereo at a moderate level with the top on and windows in, and still talk to one another without having to raise our voices...

What in the Wild, Wild World of Sports...?

Chris, Something similar happened to Brian Evans (Indiana member) at the Gingerman last year, but he didn't even do a burnout. Hopefully, he can shed some light on this for you if he is watching the board. A Viper tech even crawled under the car to check the 2nd geat lockout, and could find...

    Experienced Viper Owners wanted within...

Hey guys, You can't get away with your various spellings of Seekonk! this is the correct way, Seekonk, and that speedway has been there for many, many years. Try this site out www.seekonkspeedway.com , and you will get to their website. This is not a link, sorry, don't know how to enter...

To Tip or not To Tip.....

We sent the Service Department where we get our Viper work done a very nice Gift Basket with all sorts of foodstuffs at Christmas time. Did not send it only to the Viper tech, but I think he knew why we sent what we did! The service manager also does a wonderful job for us, gets us in in an...

Buying used Viper then 600 miles home. Advice?

I drove ours back from Cincinnati to Hastings, MI, about 325 miles the same day we bought it. I have to admit, I was veerry careful with it, did not even think about going over the speed limit, didn't try anything foolish at all. My wife followed me home in her car, and Chris is right, on the...

    Are these windows still available?

I could not get hold of Steve by phone, even sent him a snail mail letter, never got an answer. Wound up with V Mania double sliders instead. Love 'em, and thanks for the hint about hinging down the rear window Jon B!

We got windows for the RT/10!

Check it out, VMania windows on the '94, and they are great with the top off! You can hear each other while going at regular speeds and even the radio! Opened the rear window like Jon B said, and that makes a difference too. See what you think. Thanks again Biff! These are cool, why...

    side windows

We just got the VMania windows about two weeks ago. Got the twin sliders, one on each side, and they are great (don't need the door poppers with these). Jon B told me to take down the rear window, and it is amazing how much ventillation you can get in the car. Leave it up, and with the...

    Any tips on first drive??

This is one car that you do not want to "Drive it like you stole it", at least not at first. Just like the other posts said, take it easy at first, make sure you are in an absolutely straight line before you try to get on it, and then only do it in steps or stages (already rolling in third then...

    80 SNAKES,80 SNAKES,80 SNAKES !!!!

Bill, If this race is anything like the Gingerman Viperdays, it is a heck of a lot of fun to watch, if not participate in. We attended the Viperdays at Gingerman last year (to watch) and took along some of our West Michigan Mopar Club members, Skip took the time to welcome us, show us around...

Elmwood Dodge, Warrantee stuff, smiling face! (long)

Tony, Being originally from RI, I remember Elmwood Dodge from long ago, and they have always had a good reputation. They have been around for a long time, and the only way you can stay around for as long as they have, is to treat people right. I found a small Chrysler Plymouth dealer less than...

Mobil 1 Oil Filter Failure...... (Long)

After reading all these posts, I am re-thinking my methodology. I take Mobil 1 to the Chrysler Plymouth dealership, they change the oil and put in a Mopar filter. I think I will bring along a NAPA Gold filter too from now on. Don't need to be loosing any of the engine oil through a blown...

    Magic Carpet Ride DVD

Join the VCA, you get one automatically that way! Heck of a deal, as the DVD was $15.00 at VOI-6 if I remember right. So, just for joining, you get $15.00 back right away, can't go wrong!

    Snow Again?

I really feel for you Jim. We are having lots of rain here in Michigan, mild weather (but still can't drive the Viper). I hope the snow isn't on its way to Michigan from Montana! Think positive vibes so it clears up early in the morning for your racing, snakes don't like snow at all.

    For potential used viper buyers

Hey Acatala7, Was back in your neck of the woods last week, got a ride in an old friend's ZO6 at the same time. It was a blast, great car for the money. He is a little bit afraid of it yet, lives in Cumberland. You wouldn't be Tony Catalano by any chance would you? Drop me an e-mail at...

The Ol Gen 1's still got it!

Re: The Ol Gen 1\'s still got it! Jerry, I promise we will do that, hey, I just might propose it as a cruise for our West Michigan Mopar Club to do on a Saturday, if you are open! We could cruise over with some heavy Mopar Iron as well as with the Vipers! I think I could get a few West...

The Ol Gen 1's still got it!

The Ol Gen 1\'s still got it! Just installed the V Mania widows on the '94 last night, and took the car out for a spin tonight to, believe it or not, the local K-Mart, and you know what, it's still got crowd appeal. I sat in the car when my wife went inside, and just about everybody who drove...

    Whats faster than a VIPER-USA

Mark, Sorry I didn't make it to Massachusetts, back home in W. Michigan now. Did have some chowdah and some good old RI clamcakes! They were excellent. Drove right through Walpole, on the way up and back from Maine, just did not have time to stop by and say hi! Did get a ride in a ZO6 from...

    Whats faster than a VIPER-USA

Well, being up in the northwoods of Maine like I am today, I remember that a car (1967 Plymouth) called the Silver bullet had a rep as being the fastest car on Woodward Ave, never got beaten by anything the other factories put out there then! Somebody has it restored now, was in Auburn, Indiana...

    Viper places 3rd - cupholders a factor...

Chris, Is Edmunds a real "car" magazine or does it rate cupholders above performance? I have two cupholders when I get into a car, one on the left, and a mirror image one on the right! You know who will always be first in these things, Corvette, because there are sooo many more of them out...
