    Spark Plugs for Gen-1 Engine

I know this question has been asked before, but what is the best spark plug for the Gen-1 engine. I am getting smooth tubes and high flow air filters from Sean Roe and want to couple that with new plugs. I gather the Bosch Platinum plugs are very good, but what about the 4 prong Bosch plugs...

    End of an Era!

Hey, it was great of NBC to provide that coverage. If it would not have been for them we would not have seen anything about the last race the Vipers ran in. I do have to say however, they did not show much about the Viper, as it was already the ALMS champ, but the drivers were still fighting...

    It's here! It's here!

Re: It\'s here! It\'s here! Hey Ben, Glad to hear of all your driving experience and driving schools as well, Way more than me. No, I have not been able to "test drive" a Gen-2 car yet, but from the way you make it sound, there is a world of difference between the two. Maybe in the not too...

    over 600 bhp

Check out the license plate on the bike! Nadine, you should have gottten that one for the Viper! Liz, I like the matching stripes too! The blue flames at the exhaust are a nice touch!

    It's here! It's here!

Re: It\'s here! It\'s here! Congratulations, it is a beauty, I love the color! That bow on top really sets the Christmas mood. Having said that, I am now going to do my best Fred (driving school) Kinder impression, "Get thee to a driving school!" That is the first modification you want to...

Anyone lose a friend after buying Viper?

I've always had a car or two in the "third" garage stall, always been a MOPAR, and even built a heated garage for the Challenger T/A 340 SixPak, before the Viper came into the family, so it wasn't noticed so much. As a matter of fact, after I gave a friend from Rhode Island a ride in the...

    Next Viper Owners Invitational

Thomas, You can bet on it that you will have a ride in a Viper, and so will anyone else that wants one from the plant! That is the least we can do for the folks that built our cars! I have had the privilege of giving rides to some of the spectators at the Gingerman in Grand Haven, and one of...

    Next Viper Owners Invitational

Jeff, When we bought our '94 two years ago in November, it was too late to go to the Las Vegas one, and it was too far away from little old Michigan for us anyway. We did go to VOI-6 in St. Louis, about 525 miles each way. Let me tell you right now, It was worth every penny and then some! My...

    Emotional Post...Please Read

David, what a wonderful gift to receive, especially at this time of year! I know you will certainly enjoy your family even more during this Holiday season with the precious gift of sight. Happy Holidays to you and yours, and thank God for the donor's planning ahead, so someone else could have...

"Factory expects 0 - to -100 in 4 seconds or less"

Re: \"Factory expects 0 - to -100 in 4 seconds or less\" Ditto on the Kph 0-100 time frame, that equates to our 0-60 Mph times here in the US. Big difference! Remember the NASA Mars shot where somebody forgot to convert from english to metric or vice versa, and the probe slammed into the...

Corvette dealer might buy my 2000 Viper / C&H pict

Hi Layne, How ironic, a Vette dealer buying your Viper! Wonder what he will do with it, do you think he would sell it outright from the dealership? Hope you sell it quickly though, I know that right now, my 401K is telling me I may have to work a few more years than first planned, lost the...

Couple pics of the new (2003) proto type GTS-R

Cody, That is the prototype Viper that was at the 2000 Auto show tour, starting inDetroit last January. It was also at VOI-6. It may have some hints of the 2003 Viper, but I think it will be substantially different than this prototype. However, wouldn't you just want to get your hands on it...

    Extension of Warranty

I think it only costs $50.00 to transfer the extended warrantee from the first owner to the 2nd. Some of the newer cars do not even have a fee for warrantee transfer, if I remember correctly. If it is already into an extended warrantee program, then it can be transferred over to the next...

    Where's Augs?

Re: Where\'s Augs? Nice try Chuck, but not quite the same. I'm glad that we met at VOI6, but now that Augs and Layne are gone or going, I only wish I would have also met them in St. Louis.

    NWE SLIDING WINDOWS

Ladd, take a look at the "Marketplace" heading on the Viper Club of America homepage, and look under "Accessories", and you will find a link to Northwest Engineering. Click on that, and you will find the information you want. I am thinking of a set for our '94 next spring. I like the locking...

    Where's Augs?

Re: Where\'s Augs? Geez, first Augs, then Layne and Liem, the old gang is kinda breaking up. Lots of new folks on the board, I kinda miss Augs posts, I know that Layne will stay in touch, but it's just not the same anymore, between the new board and the loss of some of the "old timers." Don't...

Selling our '00 RT :( / Our Viper experience

Re: Selling our \'00 RT :( / Our Viper experience Layne & Liem, Sorry we did not get a chance to meet you guys at VOI6, even more sorry now that you will be selling your pride and joy! I know about the tough decision part of it, but hey, you did have the enjoyment of Vipers for a few years so...

Got a question for 1st gen RT/10 owners...

In 1995 at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, OH, a 1994 viper RT/10 ran a ZR1, and with Darryl Alderman at the wheel of the Viper, it ran a 12.5 second 1/4 mile, and took the ZR1 two out of three times. So much for the Camaro boys!

The Firings will continue untill the moral improves..

Although this would certainly make my '94 worth a whole lot more than it is worth today, I do not want it to go this way. Chrysler is in deep dodo if this keeps going the way it is right now. I hope they (Daimler) do sell off Chrysler, and that enough good old American businessmen that know...

    Viper Days Videos

Great videos, Jarrett. Makes me feel like being back on the Gateway track all over again! I only wish somebody would have gotten a video of my 360 degree spinout with our '94 RT/10 on Saturday morning at VOI-6. Let me tell you, that is enough to change the color of your shorts real quick...

    More rumors about Chryslers future

Just goes to prove that "Bigger isn't always better" doesn't it? What a shame, Chrysler was really getting things together, and then this "merger" came along. If anything happens to the Viper, I think you will see a mass exodus back to the "Brand X" American sports car, and Chrysler (Dodge)...

How the Heck would ya clean the motor?

You won't believe this one, but Baby Wipes work just great for cleaning up under the hood! The stuff they put into the Baby Wipes is a great cleaner, and if it'll clean the poop off a baby's butt, you should check out what it does to the oil and grease and stuff on the engine. If you don't...
