Eric, we are on the same thought process :D
I have been doing some research on the KB bigbore units. The dimensions seem to be similar, and we have plenty of room fore and aft. The problems come from the width and especially the height. The hood would have to be modified for it to fit. And...
It has an intercooling effect.
Yes, it does make a difference if you tune for it. You can add more boost with less chance of detonation because of the water. You can also run a little leaner and add more timing since the meth adds octane. The cooler IAT will mean more air going in and thus...
Diamond pistons are direct replacements for the stock cast pistons and require no balancing.
Chuck, I don't get your logic. That's like saying," My wife and I need some couples counseling, but that is just cutting corners, so I'm just going to fix it for good and give her a lobotomy so we...
As long as the comp. check was good and there are no spark issues, then the fuel injection syst. will be suspect.
Once we get the VEC connected to my laptop, we can check the fuel trim settings and log injector duty cycle. That should tell us if the VEC is controlling the injectors properly...

thanks Tony
questions:
how are the lines inside the canister connected to the pumps?
what are the lines going to the Y-fitting?
do the Walbros sit all the way down in this configuration so that they can pick up fuel at low tank levels?
Do both, you'll love it!
j/k
you will need to decide if you want to stay n/a or go fi
there is a huge difference in power delivery
do some searching and decide what's best for you
since you had the dash out, first go back and make sure you plugged the window switch back in and if you messed with the a/c controls make sure you got that reconnected right
if the a/c control connector is right, and you are getting all other dash lights, then check the wiring and the bulbs...
Same for me.
My car came with the Fidanza on it, so I don't know what its like not to have the light flywheel. I can't imagine the car revving slower. I love giving a quick rev to 5k at people next to me :headbang:
