Friend with his 97 gts again....he removed the dash and the driver door panel....put everything together and now the windows wont roll down and his ac unit controls have not lighting to them

What did he forget to connect or what fuse/relay?

I have had that problem on mine since day 1. I have checked the service manual and can't find anything that even mentions window troubleshooting on my 94...

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Do you folks have a service manual though?

Ha yeah yeah..... im just wondering if there is a wire that i may have unplugged? Or what fuse/relay is it? Is it a close loop system?

since you had the dash out, first go back and make sure you plugged the window switch back in and if you messed with the a/c controls make sure you got that reconnected right

if the a/c control connector is right, and you are getting all other dash lights, then check the wiring and the bulbs int he control itself

if the window switch is right and if the pass. window works, then pull back the boot that protects the harness to the door and check for broken wires - this is very common

check these things first since they are easy
then get back to us

Well we took the driver door panel off but not the passanger (is it a closed system?)

i didnt disconnect the ac controls, i just thought it was weird that both the windows and the ac lights didnt work....wasnt sure if they are on the same fuse? ( which fuse is that BTW? )
