Bay Area Owners--I-85N to 280N ramp
I'm thinking of the right ramp, but the wrong time of day...I'm only ever down that way during rush hours unfortunately. Mine is a '99 ACR, no modifications, although I'm losing the battle of self-control and thinking of some improvements.- silverviper

Drag Racing in Bay Area

Whoops. My mistake about the Oreca team then... I'm getting a complete list of races and teams which feature Chrysler, Dodge, and especially Vipers. I'll post it here. If possible, I'll also try to contact those teams and see if they can join us for a little socializing and pictures...- silverviper

Is my hood closed properly? Help welcomed!
The best way to know if your hood is latched properly is: close hood, grab side of hood at wheel well, gently pull upward, repeat on other side. If the hood rises up at all when you lift, it isn't yet latched properly. Cheers.- silverviper

JUST GOT MY G-TECH/PRO.....
I had a result of 3.95 seconds 0-60, with a stock ACR, full tank of gas, and a 250lb passenger, michelin street tires. Is this realistic, it sounded too good to be true...but who's complaining?- silverviper

Whistling noise during acceleration
I have asked both my Chrysler mechanic and Ted May of Valaya Racing, and both gave the same response: it's normal. Something to do with the design of the intake on the ACR and other Vipers with K&N. And I've grown to love the sound of acceleration....- silverviper
