What a great day! We deserved that great weather after the winter we had.
Thanks, John, and Kelly.

When I had my '01 RT/10 Saphire w/Cognac I bought a set from Maurice. The mats are black and the logo, and the 'Viper' are in Cognac. They were absolutely stunning, and always drew positive comments from other people.
I've owned 5 vipers in the past 12 years and have yet to sit in (much less drive) one before buying. That said, he's welcome to sit in, and check out my VOI9 if he ever gets up to my area. Unfortunately, with this weather, it staying in the garage for the forseeable future.
Georgeous! Makes me really miss my Silver/Blue GTS (RIP). Have your local Dodge dealer do a VIN check, and if they come up with two paint codes for your car then you have 1 of 23 original for '99.
Glad things worked out for you, and good luck going forward. By the way... that wouldn't happen to be Biff's car and garage in those pics, would it? If so, send him my regards.
Like most things, it's "different strokes for different folks". I have a Direct Lift, going on 4 years, and am very satisfied with it. Mine is bolted down, and I primarily use it for storage, with occasional oil changes and minor maintenance. I had it professionally installed, and the...
The one that ran at Laguna Seca was Black with Red Center, and black driver's stripe. Too bad that's not in the chart...extremely wicked! (uh...that is without the red wheels).
Great purchase! Congratulations. Don't forget to register your new car on our FE websight: Dodge Viper Final Edition Registry by contacting Jim B. at [email protected] or by clicking on "submissions" on the web sight.
Here's a google translation of the article, in German, that Baz posted a link to above, which is supposed to be the WSJ article:
The Dodge Viper is history. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne is a production of the American cult of super-sports car. And not only that. Marchionne deletes the range of...
With no disrespect to those who think the Blue/White is the best, I think the FE has one of the strongest pedigrees of all the GTS Vipers, second only to the 1998 GT2. I say that because it was made to commemorate the Viper GTSR winning outright the Daytona 24 hour in 1999, being the first ever...
The last pic in the OP's first post are all Gen2 FE's. I agree with Lee, that pic is definitely CAAP waiting for shipping. I may be wrong, but I don't think Prefix was doing stripes back then, I believe it was still being done by ASC.
I remember a national "car rag" poll about 10 years ago entitled "Top 10 cars of the 20th century", and the GTS made it in the top 5 (#2 or #3 but can't remember for sure). And it's #65 on this list!! These guys must have been smoking their socks!
I had Biff's windows on my Gen I (since sold), and would have no other. These windows were the absolute best, and Biff customer service and attention to detail was second to none.
Here's a pic:
With great disappointment, I had to cancel out on the Viper Invades Niagara event.
I had hip surgery on Aug. 17th (total right hip replacement), and have been "rehabbing" extremely well. But because of unexpected inflamation in the area of the incision, my Dr. asked me not to travel. I can't...
Several years ago we had a tech session at the Mr. Tire in Pasadena, and we watched the tires get changed and balanced on a member's GTS, so I'm pretty sure they have the equipment to handle, just make sure you get a competent guy to do it. Also, we were told by Joe T. that Mr. Tire in Belair...
