I use only Fieldcrest or Cannon towels as well, however you can get their top of the line towels through a discounted factory outlet via the internet. These are "seconds" with minor stiching issues etc., but your going to cut them up anyway right? Here's the link...- Richard K

Tire Manufacture Date
Just picked up a set of new Pilot Sports today while waiting for the HRE's to arrive. Just curious, someone posted a thread here sometime ago stating that the tire manufacture date is stamped into the tire. I looked all over these "meats" and couldn't find it. What is the official name for the blue Viper color?
Ron is correct, the additional upcharge was for the GTS with stripes... of course in '96 and '97 I believe a "Viper Blue" GTS was only available with stripes.- Richard K

What is the official name for the blue Viper color?
Actually Matt, the "pearl" is the metallic/iridescent content of the base paint which gives it that purpleish blue appearence in sun light (and after Zaino). The color coat itself will look completely dull unless you apply the polyurethane clearcoat.- Richard K

From the more than you needed to know department... Viper Blue Pearl Metallic Code SBE - Chrysler Corporation Year 1996 (same for 97) Metallic/Iridescent content > 5 grams/liter Valueshade #5 2 part system base/clearcoat polyurethane $88/liter just for the base last time I bought it!- Richard K

What triggered you to buy your first Viper? What was it?
Saw my first one when I was working in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. It was a red '94 RT/10. We were going to lunch and it was parked at the curb outside one of the local markets... Something for you brake bleedin' crazies out there
Re: Something for you brake bleedin\' crazies out there I've been using the Speedbleeder one-way screw in bleeder fittings for sometime now... they seem to work great with a few pumps of the brake pedal all air is expelled. B&M Ripper Shifter Shattered!
YES... Mine did the same thing. You probably have an older version that was brazed at the shifter arm joint. Call B&M, they will replace it free of charge with a newer type. One benefit is the newer design doesn't have the shift adjustment screws. Therefore you (or your installer) will find it...- Richard K
