Tire Manufacture Date

Just picked up a set of new Pilot Sports today while waiting for the HRE's to arrive. Just curious, someone posted a thread here sometime ago stating that the tire manufacture date is stamped into the tire. I looked all over these "meats" and couldn't find it. Is it a code of some sort or am I not looking where I should be? Thanks!

Richard,
The production date is the last 3 digits of the 10 digit serial number.Example 121 would be the 12th week of 2001.
