Letting an interested buyer drive your car
Me too. Would never buy a car without test driving it. That being said, I would make sure he brought the funds with him (certified check) and would hold on to it for the test drive..with me in the passengers seat.- 09 Venom

Gallardo vs. Ford GT
my 2C...get the gallardo...'06 or better, upgraded clutch, e-gear software...think the lambos are the only cars that get as many looks as the Viper...the fact that they still produce the cars are a +.- 09 Venom

What can be the problem???
Update...have driven the car the past three days. When ignition is turned to the on position, I can clearly hear the fuel pump kick on and stop. I then waited a few seconds. Car started all three times but still with a hesitation I would consider a bit long. Thinking of bringing car in to check...- 09 Venom

What can be the problem???
Somethimg I failed to mention that I just thought of....I have been hearing a whine/whistling noise coming from the rear..(similar to making a whistling noise with an empty beer bottle) ....thought it was a result of the corsa i had installed...could it be a bad fuel pump? Only happens at...- 09 Venom

Hey guys, thanks a ton for the advice. I will be heading out soon to start her up. Will give you an update. Nader...Ran the car about 1 week ago....I drive the car once every 2-3 weeks in winter. April till oct...as often as I can.- 09 Venom

The last few times I went to start the '09 coupe up it took a while (3-4) seconds before she turned over. Almost as if she was ready to stall then she would start. Well today I went to start her up and she didn't. She kept cranking like she wanted to turn over (remember the old carburator...- 09 Venom

Seat Lowering Kit
Have the 1" in my '09 and the 2" in the '05.....GET THE 2 " and use a spacer or some washers to lift the front up just a bit. Will be sending the '09 back to The Wizard to replace the 1" with a 2" Use 2 " especially if you planb on racing/tracking the car- 09 Venom

Have You Experienced this Noise?
you mentioned it happens in more than one gear...but does it happen at a certain RPM?...what about cruising then lifting off the trottle?- 09 Venom

Unfortunatley I have to agree...I still see new 2008's for sale... sorry but don't see a new gen in our future unless things change for the far better. So i will just enjoy driving mine now and not worry .- 09 Venom

Differences between Gen III and IV

Corsa track exhaust on a Gen 4 ?
Though not 100% but 99% sure there was no reducer with my exhaust. I opened the box to inspect the exhaust and inspected it pretty good. Unless it was slip fit on the inlet and I didn't notice it. There are two different parts # 's for the corsa..could be the difference is the inlet diameter:)- 09 Venom

FLX109, I love the sound of the Corsa but might want it a little louder, I will need the reducer when i add the hi-flo cats. Why didn't I just get the 3" inlet Corsa and hi-flo cats know you ask...I DON'T KNOW....:dunno:- 09 Venom
