They are BBS forged magnesium racing wheels. They are not meant for street use and are made to race for one season. Street use is out of the question because these wheels experience stress cracks. I tried to buy a set for my Viper and the BBS guys at PRI emphatically said no to street use...
jay also started this website many years ago... and Tony Rickard used to manage it. Now I am revealing how long in the tooth I am. I believe that Jay eventually sold it to Chrysler.
The CHP Motor for Toys event is on that very same day. their web site is www.motor4toys.com .
There will be more than 2,000 cars at this event.
See you out there!

Run flats and handling? What an oxymoron...
Run flats are too heavy and hurt handling on any car.
The Michelin PS are a good all around tire that will give you some very predictable break away characteristics. Their wear factor is harder and the tire will last longer than a PS2. If you...
I dumped my Zaino, Meguiar's and everything else under the sun for Adam's Polishes products... www.adamspolishes.com
I got tired of spending an entire day to detailing my 10 year old daily driven '96 GTS Coupe. Adam's products are easier to use and give a deeper luster than anything that I...
Do I know you Cat? If not, why is the world are you making this personal. Your IQ is truly coming out here.
FACT #1: IF YOU DIAL IN TOO MUCH BIAS TO YOUR REAR BRAKES AND YOU GET INTO A LOCK UP SITUATION, YOUR CAR WILL BREAK INTO A SPIN AND SWAP ENDS. If you would like to put this device on...
Where do you get this urban legend BS? ASK YOUR INSURANCE AGENT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME! I have several friends in the auto insurance business... including adjusters.
If you even had a clue as to what this device could do if adjusted incorrectly, you wouldn't be asking me these questions...
Dave:
I don't see a disclaimer that this should be used for off road use only. If not, everyone needs to be aware that this device can void your insurance. If you are in an accident and the insurance adjuster finds this device on your car, they will void your claim and your policy.

On the other hand the SVSi is very precise and notchy feeling. You'll...
I think that Erik likes Penske's because they are US based and their support is superior to Moton/JRZ (which I believe are based in Japan). I have never heard of any complaints from Penske users (other than the suspsnsion being better than the nut holding the wheel).
Having this upgrade will...
Chuck:
I used the same pads and on a technical track like Buttonwillow Raceway (3 miles long with 23 turns) I ate the set in a day. On a less technical track like Willow Springs, they do just fine. These pads came highly recommended by the guys at Stop Tech. I don't think that there were...
Pagids are the best pad that I have ever driven (for track and street) and the most expensive. I believe that Stop Tech sells them.
I use Neo synthetic brake fluid... higher boiling point than Motul and the rest (IMO). That's my $.02.

Is anyone planning to attend the Art Center Classic Car Show coming up this Sunday in Pasadena? If not, you might seriously reconsider because it is one of the premiere gatherings of classic cars and automotive designers that you will ever find.
This year’s show is recognizing Gordon Murray...
From what I understand, these were special ordered cars for Chrysler executives. This was not available to the general public. Craig Jackson of Barrett- Jackson has one of these.
