    don't they sell the whole hub/bearing assemlby as a copmlete unit? I think it comes off of the upright by unplugging the ABS sensor and undoing four bolts

    ...at high RPM.... Did you bang it off the Rev Limiter really quicky, a couple of times? That can cause the car to go into limp mode.
