    New garage floor--pock marks-normal?

Guys--wow, God almighty. I have never gotten this many posts over ANTHING. Not a 2010 FE, a 92 low VIN, a Ford GT--you name it. You guys are passionate about your garages. I appreciate the helpful comments. It will be fine even if we end pulling up the entire floor which I doubt. My guy is...

    New garage floor--pock marks-normal?

Thanks for all the comments and help. My guy is solid and I think it was an example of bad timing--the night they poured it went way down in temp. He builds hundreds of garages and has a good rep. He will make it right. And, if, God forbid" it ever gets to "attorney time"--that is easy...

    New garage floor--pock marks-normal?

My concrete floor was poured 2 weeks ago. There are a few spots on the surface that have pock marks and a little loose concrete. My contractor says it is normal and he can smooth it over Anyone had this issue/Is it normal? Thanks

True but watch your head when you close that GT huge door.

    Ford GT

I have 2 GTs and have had 7 Vipers including an 09 and 2010. I LOVE Vipers, but there is no comparison between the driving experience, handling etc between a Gen 4 Viper and GT. The GT is as nice and as smooth as it gets. As a Ford engineer once told me "we could have made the GT for $100,000...

    Someone wrote "fag"on my car

In 16 years of Viper, etc ownership and lots of unattended parking I only had one such experience and at Barnes & Noble. Someone (likely from the expresso crowd) left a note on my car saying, "sorry to hear about your small peni$". I just tossed it away and drove off ( and hoped it wasn't my...

Tall guys: save my dream car for me...

I am a little over 6'4"--no seat lowering or any gadgets through 7 Vipers. A learned art. Now my son at 6'7" can't fit but that is just as well.

Partially built garage awaits American Muscle

I tend to buy cars on looks/colors without regard to Gens. I have had multiple Gen 1s, 2s, 3s and 4s Vipers. Some GT colors are worth more than others. I had a white first which is not as valuable or rare as the blue one. There are very minor differences in an 05 and 06 (billet arms/ door...

Partially built garage awaits American Muscle

Man--I bet you get attention in F--ville. There used to be 2 Vipers in a town on the way to F--ville from Richmond--way back 12 years ago or so--they (father/son) were in the club. In am in Midlo.

How NOT to leave a car show

That's the point. Instead of just dealing with well deserved embarassment, he could be facing manslaughter charges, etc. (and talk about a slam dunk prosecution , witnesses AND a video) This kind of stuff has shut down a lot of car shows around here. Neither the sponsors nor property owners want...

The V is a blast. Traded M5 for it and never looked back. I love Caddies anyway. Guess I am getting old.:)

Partially built garage awaits American Muscle

Poured concrete this week (Caddies sitting on concrete) on another garage so I took the opportunity to take some pics. 2010 FE left out--in storage. Wish I had more space to build a larger garage like some here have.:usa:

The first Viper you ever saw

    First I saw in person was a 93 . First I owned was a 95. First I saw in a picture was a 92---which I now own. :)

    Did I buy a turd?

92, 95, 00 ,05, 06 ,09, 10= 100,000 + miles =DIY oil changes + 1 or 2 minor annoyances (of late paint/seats) No, none, nada powertrain work. Even though it is a sports car, in terms of reliabilty (knock on wood) I would put these 7 Vipers (don't really drive the 92-collector car) against any...

Building new garage - Need advice

Jon: I am not as far along as you but here are some pics of a 26X26 I am adding because my 26X26 attached garage even with lift got maxed out. Feel free to tell me where mine might be going wrong because I have no clue. My guys cannot get anything done because every time they take a pi$$ the...

What is the problem with Gen 4 seat deformation?

Over a year ago I had my driver's seat on my 09 begin to deform--it would curve inward from the left side to the mddle making it almost impossible to drive. When I took it in my Viper tech told me had replaced seats in the past with the same problem. It took months to get a new seat and I had...

Bad experience with the viper today...

Hitting the brakes HARD will give you an even chance of spending the next hour or 2 with the moron in person and a cop taking down the accident information. Not to mention you will have a wrecked viper and the moron will have a wrecked Civic that he was trying to get insurance $$ for anyway.

    SAD, SAD DAY !!

Does it snow every day where you all live?? If so, I get it . If not , why "winterize" a car? I can and do drive mine in below freezing temps if it is otherwise sunny/nice. I wimterize boats but not cars.

    Anyone use sleep mode

I keep my cars on tenders but sometimes take them out of town where they might sit a few days. The manual (which for the 2010 I had to order!) has directions for putting the car in sleep mode therby extending the (lousy) battery life. Has anyone done this and if so does it work? Thanks
