SLC may seem odd to some but it is truly a great city, and given that VOIs have hit most of the "natural" locales up to now, I cannot think of a better location. (except Richmond or Charlotte but I am lazy and love both tracks)
I have not been to a VOI in awhile, but hope to make this one and...
Bernie--still love the looks of that Anaconda Green ACR- I think you still have it. (my first--a 95 was green) If I did not already have an 09 (and maybe a 10) I would buy it.
Guys, when you look at those pics, as other have said 10 years from now you may be saying "damn I wish i had snapped...
Pretty simple (and my kids would say nerdy) In HS and college I paid my way playing drums in bands. After college did it full time throughout the country before going to law school.
Won't say how long ago but Carter (now our 2nd worst President) was in office.
Unfortunately, there are still...
Who predicts 733???? I can see 730 and 775 tops but 733??? Nice round number. I would not bet a man who gets that specific.
I think Jon is holding out on us. He must have cut a deal with a mole in very high places . Maybe a set of PS2s for inside info.:)
I don't want to jump any annoucments here, but there are several. Some neat stuff will be offered. (don't expect more power) Orders not quite being taken yet.
However, if I did not already have an 09 I would first take advantage of the financing now available on 09s.
Call John Gastman at...
Viper is one of the most "special editioned " cars EVER. I have had a couple--they fared no better at resale.
I often joke that when all is said and done, a "plain" non special edition Viper will be more rare than the others.
Rarely disagree with MJ, but do here. repaint means you are living with chips and that when it gets bad enough you repaint. Repaints potentially reduce value of car and can be seen by a lot of dealers on trade in.
I have 3M on Vipers, CTS-V and wife's Escalade (that was a job!) We routinely...
I have them (emblems) on 06 and 09 --have NOT noticed missing "nuts' etc.
Only thing I notice on later Gen Vipers is weak paint. Even dealers carp about it (they shall go unnamed) It is a shame for a car that used to have great paint (my older Vipers were bullet proof) --if you look hard at...
Numbers are still coming in, but it looks like Maximum Bob did well finishing about 7th with the CTS-V taking the first 4 spots. Most of the Euro weenies backed out -scared to death of American muscle.
At 77 I hope to still be vertical--much less racing cars.
This is getting really OLD although the entire industry makes no sense. I kept waiting for the 2010 Escalade for my wife and had to buy an 09 cause they still have not started building 10s (they usually start in July)
I don't have good feelings about this. If it happens it has been a nice run...
Traditionally we have gotten generous warranties inthe US due to competition. I have 2 new Caddies with 100,000 mile warranties. (not to mention 60 day buy back)
In Europe it used to be warranties were quite short.(don't know if still true) I can remember my German clients complaining that...
Bob Lutz, whose historic 98 GTS-R will soon be raffled by the VCA , will take on M3s,M5s and Audis on 10/29 at Montecello Raceway.
It started at a press conference awhile back when he was extolling the virtues of GM cars and the V in particular which is arguably the word's fastest production...
Don't tell him but I suspect in the last decade or so Jon has talked me out of about $10,000 worth of business--to him! Stuff like "no, you don't want that for your car", or "that won't work" etc etc
Reminds me of Roanoke Motors--cut a deal awhile back WITH FINANCING, they call me back a week...
