    My DD, the CTV-V's windshield was a mess--water spots etc. The other night I used glass polish and glass pads on a Porta Cable and it looks like new.

    Re: Carfax vs Autocheck. There was recently a Ford GT on ebay for top dollar and it showed a clear history. A bunch of guys knew the car and knew it had been wrecked. It looked great until you saw the pics of it wrecked. I would not trust any of these services.

    David E. Davis--1930--2011

    Automotine jounalism giant, Davis died at age 80. As I recall a former Viper owner who may have picked his up at the plant in the 90s (later sold it for about what he paid for it--how many of us can say that?) He is the man who made Car & Driver number 1 in the 60s and founded Automobile Magazine.

    I know--I am saying I will believe it when I see it. We are approaching 2nd quarter of 11. And on the classifieds, even when I look at other places I am seeing less Vipers though I guess the good weather may bring some out for top value.
