    911 Turbo owner new to board & looking into Vipers

    A- train has posted on Porsche board he is modifying his 911. To get 480 RWHP will cost him 13,000. This is what I paid.Being somewhat lighter this makes the car competive with 95% of the Vipers out there. They are totally different. Each with it's strong points.

    What do you pay for an oil change?

    Used to pay about $65 for my GTS with 10 qt capacity at Grease Monkey. Just paid $165 for 10 Qts oil change of Mobil 1 0-40w at the Porsche Dealer for my 2001 TT!! Only place you can find this weight is Porsche or Mercedes dealers no Mobil one dealers.

    Cat Removal-How & What?

    This is what I did. The cats were removed..Borla Sportsman stainless "mufflers" went in their place. These are 14" long 3" inlet ,3" outlet, 3 1/2 in diameter..Used primarily on midget racers. Loud, distinctive,ETC ETC

    I wouldn't worry about it. I think this is designed that way. They want you to sweat it out at WOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!or get you to turn it off............ it robs HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!
